Spending time in the park

Today was free day from Hazel's work and she wanted to spend it with her sister, who was just 34 years old. Since their mother died when little Aqua was born then Hazel became like mother for her even if she is actually a sister. Haz loves her sister very much, she will do anything for her.

The sisters decided to go that The Enchanted Park, they have never been yet there. They thought it would be fun for them both. Little Aqua was interested about it. So was Hazel actually. When they reached they saw there quite many people even if the weather wasn't that good today. Hazel did hold her sisters hand all the time, she didn't want her to get lost.

"Where you wanna go first?" Hazel asked from her sister when they had reached there and also kneeled down to her sister length to face her. Aqua looked around and wondered where to go now first. "You can pick anything what you will like but not very big kid places," she added with smile.

James had taken a rare day off work all was quiet or so he hoped. He walked into the park as he held a book under his arm. He could hear the children laughing and he felt the cool but not too cool breeze as he walked his jacket was open and his cotton shirt showed under his waist coat that he wore with an old gold pocket watch the chain glistened in the sun light as he walked down the path to a spot he knew well. He watched the people in the park.

Moving to a bench he sat down and opened the book his jacket now slung over the back of the bench his medallion dangling over his shirt as he leaned slightly forward to read his book.

Hazel wait the answer from her sister there now. She really wasn't sure what her sister wanted to do. She couldn't say what to do either, she wanted her to choose. "Swings," Aqua said and run towards it. Hazel just smiled and looked at her and walked towards swings too. "I don't need to push you, right? I'll go and sit there now. You can look around but don't go very far," Haz said when she was near her little sister.

Aqua nodded and smiled. Hazel then walked over the bench what she pointed before but before she was there she saw one man sitting down there. "Do you mind if I sit here for awhile?" she asked there and pointed empty place next to him now.

Jim looked up from his book at first the sun silhouetted the young woman and he moved to shade his eyes so he could see her better. He saw her long dark hair and smiled " of course, its still a free country last time I checked, never can tell with Gideon these days." he said and chuckled.

He moved his coat and placed his marker in the book. Closing it he scanned the park. "Breath taking isn't it." He said noting several children playing in park close by. He wanted to talk more to her but just sat quiet for the moment. " so you here alone or with some one?" he asked placing his book in his pocket again.

Hazel smiled and then took a seat when the man basically said it was okay. "Oeh yeah I heard about that Gideon wants to take ministry over but I'm not sure what exactly happened there. I didn't went to that meeting or so," she said there now and looked at her sister.

She nodded her head slowly."It is breath taking," she agreed with it. "I'm here with my little sister who I raise myself. Mother isn't round anymore and father too, it's long story about what I don't really wanna talk with stranger," she said there now and looked at that man for a second there now but then back at her sister

James smiled as she spoke and nodded his head a she said it was not a story she wanted to tell a stranger . " totally understandable" he told her then turned slightly to face her. " James Cummings, my friends call me Jim" he introduced himself holding out his hand to her to shake if she wanted to.

" I feel taking on your sister like you have is an honorable thing, not many would do such a thing." he told her knowing at least two of the people he worked with had done the same and taken on others children, Steven with cassidy and Khaat with Dakota.

She nodded her head. It was good that he did understood that she didn't want to talk about her family what she barely had even now. Just her and her sister. "I'm Hazel Parker, not really any good nicknames but people call me sometimea Haz," she said there now and then did shake James hand. "It's nice to meet you Jim," she said there now with a smile.

"I just couldn't let her go to orphange. And never she her again probably. I would have regreted that choice. The current choiche to raise her up my own I don't regret at all. Even if people sometimes assume that she is my own kid but she isn't," she said there now with a smile. She really loved her sister very much and she couldn't imagine her life with out Aqua anymore at all.

James saw the look on Hazels face as she spoke of her sister and he smiled and nodded. "Yes, there okay places but not that nice." He told her watching the children play. "Hazel, its a nice name" He complimented her. "Well shes luck to have a sister like you." He said He folded his paper and placed it next to him.

"So, what do you do for work?" he asked " I...I work at the ministry and I'm also body guard to Khaat lupin, this is one of my rare days off." He added chuckling. He sat and watched all the happy children playing in front of them.

She nodded her head there now. "Yeah that's what I have heard too but that's othet reason why I didn't put her there," she said now with a weak smile. "Thanks, you have nice name too," she said then back now too. "I guess yeah. She makes even my life much happier," she said with a smile now.

"Oh I work as Nurse in St. Mungos. I recently began to work thefe. I just needed to work and earn some money and it was first suitable job what I did find myself," she said there with a smile. "Awhile im at work my next door older woman who we both call grandma is looking after her. She did even look after me when i was younger," she said there now with a smile. She also did look how kids were playing and she did even saw Aqua there, she was glad that she could make some friends.

Jim looked at Hazel and smiled " Ah, so thats where I have seen you before, friend of mine works at the hospital too" He said and smiled "You work hard for a good reason, Most people work just for money or power, or to forget." he glanced out over the like but then back at her.

"Do you like your work?" he asked " ow and do you want some ice cream?" He motioned to the van parked close by where they were sat. Standing he walked over and bought three cones. Walking back he smiled as he watched Hazels sister.

" here my treat, one for you and you r sister , didn't know what you wanted on it so..I just got plain." He handed both to her and sat down next to her taking out his clean hanky to wipe his fingers.
