While Brice kept drinking his butterbeer, Amber's remained untouched. She was too curious about the whole subject and when he agreed on telling her more about it, she was more than happy. Pushing herself closer to the table, Amber relied on it with her elbows and locked her eyes on the young man as he started speaking.
It was an interesting perspective he offered to her. Here, in Hogwarts, they did not study herbology in a sense of it being a terrible weapon. In fact she did not even think once of having a plant as a weapon which could be considered a part of the dark arts, but suppose one learned every day.
She was not so much surprised by the role of the potions; after all, one could create terrible poisons and therefore she had listed it to the dark arts long ago, but then again potions were essential to her. She was still interested in healing and all the other processes related to it.
“But I can imagine they were very interesting,” Amber pointed out, sad that she had never experienced such lessons in her life. Certainly she would be a lot smarter than she was now. But his words made her smile. Mark his words. Regardless, that was only his opinion and she could envy him peacefully in her head.
When silence fell, Amber did not find any reasons to break it, however she was curious why he started staring at her. At first it was uncomfortable, but then again she was so used to it. Girl loved to wear the types of clothes that would attract attention on the streets, although the clothing itself was not exactly the lightest. Her boots were pierced and heavy, she had many bracelets around her wrists and her nice and lip were both pierced. Besides that Amber had a very pale skin that did not tan at all. If anything, she would pull off a nice ghost.
But in the end, with his grin, she arched her eyebrows up a bit:”Are you challenging me, Brice?”
