Why did she even expect that her plan would work? Out of a hope she might survive tonight? Perhaps so. She continued to run whatsoever. Amber did not want to die that young, nor did she want to die as a breakfast for a vampire and she added more speed, begging her legs to move as fast as they could. But, as a human, her body was slowly growing tired. It appeared that the more she wished to escape, the more her own body began realizing that there was no use in running.
And then the rain. Although it was only refreshing to some extent, it sure had its tolls on the poor girl. Her mascara was washing off, leaving thin black trails on her cheeks. She wanted to cry and scream, but most of all – she wanted to fight and prove her worth. Em'Os killed many people before, but she wanted to make sure that she would put down a good show before going down.
And to do that, one had to provoke the other. She did not stop running, but instead of screaming when the lamp exploded, the girl snarled:”A vampire using such childish tricks?” as she ran further. Heavy rain was making it harder to run, but she managed to do so for a while.
