Mariana started practising this abilitty in 6th year, especially on Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts classes. At first she wasn't very good at it, which made her take extra time to practice it since it was useful on certain Order missions, the fact that she could fire a spell without saying a word. She worked extra hard that year, and it took a lot of mistakes to finally adopt the new technique. Her abilitty kept being perfected on her 7th year of Hogwarts, especially when she became leader of Potter's Army for a few months and started teaching tham did she see where excatly was the problem. Now she uses it without effort, and can fire a silent spell at amazing speed.

This abilitty, Gabrielle aquired during her training for an auror. It wasn't an usual protocol to teach all new Aurors this abilitty, but by the time she started her training, Gabriele was a promising and very skilled witch. Her menthor was at first, Maximilien Maurine, a very respected young Auror and a skilled fighter. She mastered this abilitty with no great difficulty, her practical training consisted mostly of her interogating prisoners who were accused of something and the determining of whether they were lieing was vital. She has the use of this abilitty all the time, her persuasive nature (possibly consequence of her veela gene) makes her even more skilled in this abilitty then many wizzards.
Brief RP:
The room was dark, there was a young man, no more than 30 years old sitting on the chair shaking in fear. Gabrielle made no move to threaten him or force him to talk against his will. The man was an easy target since he had no mind defence whatsoever. He was only a pawn serving someone far more dangerous. He was tied down without any way to escape, Gabrielle finally aproached him with her wand in her right hand. She stood right in front of his face, staring into his eyes. The poor man didn't even realize what he was doing. "Who are you working for? Tell me and save yourself." she said with a very persuasive voice, it almost sounded seductive. She whispered the spell, and suddenly his mind was open to her like a book. She was still a begginer struggling to stay focused and she managed it, The man must have sensed her in his mind because he started turning his thoughts elsewhere. But it was too late, Gabrielle caught a glimpse of what she needed to know.
This man was no other, than the pawn of French Minister of Magic himself. Gabrielle suspected what he was up to, but she didn't want to believe it. She knew what this meant, and this event was the one that put in motion everything that would happen later, it was the start of purging the ministry from corruption.

This was one of the first abilitties Gabrielle aquired through her life. She started learning about it by herself at the end of her Fifth Year at Hogwarts. She was a smart girl, and theory didn't represent bigger problems to her. She started practicing purging her mind from all thoughts before going to sleep every night which resulted as the greatest obstacle in her training. After more than a year of practicing, just as she was starting her 7th and last year at school, she caught a hand on it. However, practice was another thing altogether. Her professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts in that time was a very skilled wizzard. Gabrielle was one of his best students, so she didn't have much difficulty in persuading him to practice with her. They practiced it through the whole school year, and Gabrielle was very good at it. Once she finished school, she had no use of this abilitty untill her auror training where she learned about Legilimency. Her training in occlumency continued throughout her training in legilimency because in order to learn how to penetrate someone's mind, she also had to learn what barriers the person could hold against her. She perfected this abilitty by the time she became an Auror.

Gabrielle was standing in Professor Crown's cabbinet standing ready for his first attack. She knew well that this thing will take time, but she was a patient girl. Finally, he professor made his move and she felt like her mind was in open view for anyone to see. When the professor got to her memory of a boy, the first boy she had a crush on, her mind defences finally started to work and almost unconciously the disarming charm flew out of her wand which was in her hand. "Very good Miss Delacour, I see that you've been doing your homework." Professor exclaimed trying not to show too much enthusiasm. It was his opinion that too much compliments, could damage someone's ego.
It was a few months later, they were again on the same place. Gabrielle was doing an extraordinary job in blocking mind penetrations with her mind. She occasionally had to use her wand still, but she was blocking the attacks faster and faster each day. "Legilimens.." Professor Crown barely whispered. He was in her mind looking at the memory of Fleur's wedding and a minute later her mind closed. Gabrielle caught control over her thoughts, and her mind expelled the unwelcome intruder. "You're progressing. By the end of year you\ll close your mind before I even move my wand." he said pleased not assuming his prognosis too optimistic and at the end he was right.

This abilitty was aquired in a long term period of 15 years and it's the most recent abilitty Gabrielle learned through her life. The theory was easy enough to learn and that required a very short amount of her time. She started learning this abilitty after her husband's death. At first, she didn't plan to develop it too much, her learning of it was interupted for years during her children's childhood. She started training more rigidly once they went to school and she had a lot of free time. Head of Aurors back then was skilled with this abilitty and with his advise, she started mastering the abilitty much quicker. Her veela gene also made her naturally predisposed to doing magic without the use of her hands. Most of her training for it, she passed herself with constant practice at every free moment. Only 3 years ago did she perfect coordination of her mind with her hands. Now, she can use it without almost thinking twice about it.
Brief RP:
6 years ago: Gabrielle was standing in the kitchen with her hand extended trying to call a knife to fly to her hand, use Accio spell. Her wand was by her other hand while she had no grip on it. Sometimes it happened that instead of using wandless magic, the spell would come out of her wand which wasn't the purpose of what she was trying to acomplish. She could almost feel the invisible force coursing through her veins. It took about five minutes, but the knife finally flew toward her. It was a bad choice of object since she almost had no control over it once it started to fly to her. "Ouch." she muttered to herself as the knife made a light cut on her hand. She didn't fire a protective spell on time.
2 years ago: It was dark, Gabrielle was on the street. She wasn't on her guard as usual which was a perfect mistake. Her wand was in her pocket and one of the many men she sent to Azkaban was in front of her with his wand out. The street was completely empty. "How did you escape?I thought they gave you a life-long penalty." she asked almost stupidly. He disarmed her, her wand was flying through the air. Suddenly her hand was in the air, the wand was coming back while she fired a weak protective spell over her. Her shield was 10 times stronger with her wand, and the man broke through it easily. But the shield bought her few seconds she needed to grab a hold on her wand and start a powerful offence against the man. He was defeated shortly..

And John, I'm going to change the name to match your username. If that's wrong, let me know. We'll also need you to be in training for an Animagus, as the character is rather young to have gone through the lot of it. Then when he's a bit older you can sort the history for it and we can switch you round

Your character is young. You will need to wait. It's very rare to have Animagus' at 19 - excusing the Marauders entirely from this equation. You can pm someone who is already an Animagus and get them to train your character, though!

Mari could train you, she's been an animagus for some 4-5 years already

Also, I think you probably missed this 2 times, but I applied Mari for Apparation. It says up there that it doesn't require history, but if lack of history is the problem I'll write it as soon as you let me know.
