Plotting Idea - Admin Approval Needed

So....

I'm bored.

And we need subplots, methinks.

I was thinking a few of the seasoned RPers here could make profiles called NPC and could run little subplots that could really help people with their muse. I know that making the NPC thing might appear to take plotting from another character, but I think it'll help because we tend to have characters meant to last, and sometimes we need disposable characters for plotting. I already have several plot ideas that I think would be fun and would not detract from the plots already going.

I would love to see some folks who are willing to go to Azkaban, perhaps in some sort of large common group-like cell, for violating the marriage laws. And perhaps the friends of those imprisoned who might be willing to cause some sort of civil mayhem in protest.

But that's just a thought.

I'd love that! Unfortunately, Jack "obeyed" in the sense that she married. But she did not marry who she was supposed to, nor did she consummate the marriage. If that's grounds for imprisonment, I'd throw her in.

If not, she could totally lead the mayhem. I could get lists going for that.

What do you about the NPCs leading little miniplots? The ideas I have thus far are Murder Mystery Dinners, a train hijacking, a mass escape from a muggle prison, etc. The sorts of things we might not have the resources or characters for, but a few RPers could keep moving with NPCs.

I think the mini plots would be especially great for over the summer. We've done travel forums for the last couple of years, and I was trying to come up with something a bit out of the box. I think that fits the bill nicely! I like it a lot.

And yes, would you mind getting the lists going for "convicts" and mayhem-makers?

And that reminds me. I have a new little wrinkle for Jack and the werewolves, if you're interested, but I need a bit of time to write it up. It will add a bit of a twist to that business. i'll try to write it up tomorrow in a pm to you.

Sounds good! I'll try to organize a few of those subplots and I can send them to you with their description, what's needed NPC-wise, etc so maybe they can each have their own little place somewhere.

LOVELY! I was literally just thinking about how we definitely need to continue that plotline. I eagerly await your PM.

Am I allowed to have an NPC convict?

As far as other NPC's go, I'd be more than happy to make one or two whenever you let me know what's needed for plots. Furthermore, I've wanted to have Draco Malfoy for quite some time...

My idea for the NPCs for this particular plot is that each of us in control of NPCs would have an account for them. Jackles' NPCs. Kitty's NPCs. etc. Then we could have small bios with pictures in the signatures and add/subtract them as we please.
