Clearing All Charges

Felix Barker is a wanted Criminal on the run. He used to be in the papers for his horrible deeds. Deeds which included:

- The kidnapping and torture of Khaat Lupin.
- The kidnapping and torture of Elijah Krum.
- The kidnapping and torture of Sophia Granger.
- The kidnapping and torture of Chase Moor.
- The death of a few aurors while on the run.

At one point, Felix Barker was cleared of all charges by the man in power Grindewald, who then got him a teaching position at Hogwarts. Where he tortured students for Detention.

When Grindewald lost power, Felix left the school, and went on the run. While Grindewald had cleared his name, Felix knew he was not out of the doghouse yet.

He's been on the run for nearly three, maybe 4 years now. And after all this time, Felix has emerged from hiding and enlisted the help of Sophia Granger and Christabelle Whittle, to help him gain a following of people who will listen to his side of the story, and support him when he finally goes before the Ministry in an attempt to show the world that he feels remorse for his actions, and to either be sent to Azkaban, or freed to do Charity work and make amends for the wrongs he committed.

But that's where I need help.

I need people.. people who wouldn't kill Felix Barker on sight. Maybe even people who had connections to the people he tortured or killed. Even people who may have only heard his name in passing a few years ago and had no connection to the man.

So far he's starting to get help from:
Sophia Granger
Christabelle Whittle

People he's trying to win over:
Avery Ivanov (Thread in progress)
Darren Isaacson (Thread in progress)
Jack Dyllan (Thread in progress)

Anyone else like to join in this secret undertaking in getting help to clear a wanted Criminal?


On the flip side:

I'd also like people who are adverse to him getting cleared. People who, when the time comes, will hear of him going before the Ministry and be against his clearing. Obviously these people wouldn't know of his intentions until he goes before the Ministry, but I'd like some people who will be avidly against his story.

Characters Against Felix:
- Rivah Trenton, 27, Head of the Creatures Department at the Ministry. If Felix's app is accurate, he should be around 24 right now, meaning that he would have been in the same house as Rivah, just a few years younger.
- Scorpius Malfoy, 21, Lawyer. Scorpius could have been one of the students Felix tortured in Detention. Scorpius never lets go of a grudge, and would do everything in his power to prevent Felix from walking free.
- Balthazar Harding, 40, businessman. Bal is far from innocent when it comes to occasionally breaking the law, but he draws the line when it comes to hurting people. He also may have something of a slight crush of Eli, so he won't be fond of Felix for what he did to him. It would also be easy enough to say that one of the dead aurors was a friend of his.

Characters That May Support Felix:
- Marie Voisard, 29, Undersecretary to the Minister, secretly the head of the French Underground. Marie could be rather useful to Felix, and would be willing to pull as many strings as needed. She's extraordinarily good with strategy, and would like the idea of Felix owing her.

Aside from this Kitty I messaged you a possible plot twist for me and Scorpius which could help add to this for Felix.

You know Jack will be the one to testify against him at his trial. She will do anything to get rid of him.

@Christy: Love the plot twist! I replied to your PM. I'm honestly not sure how well they'll take to each other, but we'll certainly get some interesting plotting out of it. Also, if Christy needs a job, Scorpius would be very willing to help with that.

@Kitty: That would be super awkward considering Avery was going to try and get Mairen to befriend him as well. Oops.

And the plot thickens.

Hallie would have been in Hogwarts during his reign. She was a bit mischievous so would no doubt have landed the odd detention or two - Hallie could be one of those people who was tortured? She would hate Felix and would want to see him thrown into Azkaban.

She is a trainee auror but wouldn't kill on sight - it's not her style, instead she'd try and capture him and take him to the Ministry.

Ok so here would be that character I promised you Felix. Ash would have also been at Hogwarts during your reign but she never landed in detention. Some of her friends did and so once she learns who you are might need a but of ducking up to but could be persuaded to help your cause.
