To The Daily Prophet, or rather, Mrs Parkinson-Nott,
Well done. Your article, "Forthcoming Of A Dictatorship" was far more bold than I had been expecting. All the same, I congratulate you for it. You have managed to voice the fears and ask the questions that every Wizarding citizen is thinking, but few are willing to say. Or rather, most are willing to stand and complain about it, but few are willing to do anything.
I have not always agreed with the words you write, nor have I always agreed with what you stand for. Today, to my surprise, I find myself doing both.
To force strangers together is one thing, a terrible thing, but a manageable one. This new amendment, has crossed the line. What was the Ministry thinking? What about the young girls still in school? They can't be expected to keep up with their work while carrying a child. What will happen of their education? What will happen in a few years when our economy falls because every girl is expected to be carrying a child before their 17th birthday? How is the Ministry preparing for the expected boom in population? These troubling questions still remain unanswered, and it is because of the Daily Prophet that I can bring them to light.
Be careful, Editor,
A Troubled Reader
