It hadn't taken long for rumors and jokes about her friend to reach her and Hitame almost immediately got into a fight with a girl her age about it. There wasn't one day that she could go without fighting or arguing or anything, that wouldn't be very Gryffindor-like, would it? The amount of fights she got in wasn't even Gryffindor-like anymore, it was just stupid, but then again since when was Hitame smart? Especially in her decisions.
Hitame hated when something was said about her friends or family, so she was obviously going to defend one of the only people who was still her friend. In the past year, Hitame had lost almost everyone she was close to. Her friends were basically all gone, her sister was still missing and her brothers were no where to be found. She couldn't depend on them so much, but they were the only people who had been able to keep her grounded for so long. All good things end eventually though, and those good things had ended a long time ago.
All she basically had left now was Trisha, Daemon and Natalie. Most people didn't know about her friendship with Dex because of their houses and she hadn't been able to speak with Tris since her wedding since she was busy with her new husband. The thought of getting married to someone she didn't love still scared her and she hadn't made any attempts to meet up with Nick since their meeting. She just didn't want to, and she would avoid it for as long as she could.
The Gryffindor shook her head as she ran down the path to the grounds, looking around for Natalie. Maybe she could cheer her friend up a little, or do something to help her. Hitame wasn't sure what she could do but she was going to try anything that came to mind. As long as she was kind of helping her friend. She tried to think of where the girl could be, and finally the thought hit her. The forest. Natalie liked being near it.
She ran across the lawns, almost gasping for breath when she finally slowed down as a figure began to appear before her. "Nat." she called out, clearing her throat as she tried to slow her breathing. "You okay? I've been hearing unpleasant things." she frowned, looking at the bandage on her neck. Natalie seemed aggravated and frankly, Hitame couldn't blame her for feeling that way.
