I resigned from adulthood for a day!

"Wow... it seems like ages since I been here. "Calum thought to himself walking through the small village. To be honest, he was always here, but it been ages since he was here with his friends. Calum had the day off from work today, so he was to to act as much like a student as he could. He was already goofball already as his friends say, but today he was going to be more of one. He was resigning from adulthood for the day.

Walking through the crowd of students, Calum looked at the shops wondering which one to go in. "Hm.. perhaps maybe Honeydukes then maybe the thee broomstick after that. " Calum thought to himself. Squealing like a third year all over again, he ran into Honeydukes grabbing a basket. Running over towards the chocolate frogs he grabbed one before opening it and biting the head off it. Hearing a familiar chuckle Calum turned and looked through the crowd seeing Maura chuckling and shaking her head.

" Oh my goodness, didnI bump into you on my way here?"Calum asked as Maura nodded. " Oh my gosh I'm so sorry Mars, are you ok your not hurt are ya? " Calum asked looking at her closely. " I would feel horrible if I hurt you, being pregnant and all."said Calum honestly. " Whoa you gotten bigger then the last time I saw you."said Calum smiling at her. " You here alone, or is Ryo here with ya?"Calum asked looking around to see if Ryo was there.

" So how are you Mrs. Maura Hiroku?"Calum asked his best friend smiling down at her seeing how she was so short. "Me and Ryo are almost the same height, I don't see how Ryo looks at you seeing how your so short!"said Calum smirking. "Then again, you always been short to us!"said Calum chuckling. Maura was the shortest out of the three of them, Calum always called her Short Stack since they were little.

"Cal relax, you didn't hurt me I'm fine. "said Maura softly but honestly. " Plus I been pushed and shoved alot lately, I'm used to it. " said Maura shrugging as if it wasn't no big deal. "I really wish you guys would stop treating me as if I'm made of glass, I'm just pregnant!'said Maura annoyed. " Sorry didn't mean to snap Cal, it's just people been treating me that way. "said Maura honestly. It was a bit annoying, but she knew they were doing it so they cared.

" No Ryo isn't with me, I think he had to work today I'm not really sure. "said Maura honestly. " Although keep your eyes opened, you know how he is popping up scaring people at times!"said Maura shaking her head. " I blame you for his cause of doing that, he didn't start doing that until he met you!"said Maura chuckling. It was funny how well they gotten along, if she didn't know better she'll say Calum and Ryo were like childhood best friends just like her and Calum were. The moment they met they instantly clicked and became best friends.

When he asked how she was Maura smiled. "I'm great Cal, despite being uncomfortable at times, I'm great!"said Maura softly. "Actually I'm more than great, I'm on cloud nine Cal, I'm married now and I have Ciara coming soon I'm just really happy."said Maura honestly. Looking at Calum she rolled her eyes and pushed him playfully. "I'm not to short, you two are just to tall!"Maura said defensely. " Besides Ryo has no trouble, he can reach me just fine. 'said Maura honestly.

" Goodness feels like forever since I've been here with you Cal!"said Maura honestly. Grabbing a basket she grabbed some chocolate frogs before chunking them in her basket. " Been craving these alot lately, been driving Ryo up the wall about them!"said Maura chuckling. " Although surprisingly he been calm and sweet about it all, even when I haven't been to sweet to him. "said Maura frowning. " I feel bad about that, I suppose it's just pregnancy hormones but I still feel bad. " said Maura. " Probably because I snapped at him last night, but then I cried and apologized a few minutes later, he said it was okay but I still feel bad. " said Maura honestly.

"It's ok Mars really, your on the edge lately being so close to bringing Ciara into the world."said Calum honestly. "But you need to be careful, I hated to see you or Ciara. "said Calum. " Here let ,me carry your basket I insist. " said Calum taking her basket. " From now on, I'm carrying your things for today. "said Calum. He knew how clumsy Maura had became lately, he didn't want her to hurt herself.

Calum chuckled. " He was already a he devil before I met him!"said Calum. " Although I might have enhance it some. " said Calum smirking. Calum honestly thought Ryo wouldn't like him for Calum thought he thought he was weird. But Ryo liked his goofy personality as much as Maura did. He was always there to make them laugh. " Man you sure love these chocolate frogs!"said Calum chuckling looking at the chocolate frogs in her basket.

Calum smiled happy to see two of his best friends happy with one another. That's all he wanted for them, was to be happy little did he know it would be with one another. At first Calum was Ryo's best friend, but he was still protective and he still is. Calum wouldn't hurt anyone who ever hurt Maura again, he wasn't happy when he found out Maura was tortured two times. After that he became more protective over her and watched her carefully.

Calum laughed and rolled his eyes at what she said. 'I can see that he doesn't clearly!"said Calum receiving a playful shove from Maura. " Sorry your just to short to us Short Stack but we still love you."said Calum smiling. As she said she felt bad for snapping at Ryo Calum chuckled. " Like I said it's normal Mars, besides Ryo loves you so he understands. " said Calum softly. " It's ok, I'm sure Ryo even isn't worried about that he's probably more worry about you. " said Calum honestly.

Maura sighed. " I know but still no reason for me to snap at him Cal. " said Maura softly. " Sometimes I think I see hurt in them Cal, and when I do it makes me cry and that's when he comforts me. " Maura said sighing. " I don't even know how he puts up with me, I honestly don't. " said Maura honestly. " What should I do Cal to repay him?"Maura asked him softly. " I need to show him I love him for everything he does for me. " said Maura.

" Sometimes I can't believe I'm married to him!"said Maura softly but honestly. "Sometimes I can't help not to think it's all a dream, but it's not but usually happy endings don't happen to me. " said Maura softly. " I sometimes want to ask Ryo why me out of all the girls out there, what was so special about me?"Maura asked Calum. " I'm so lucky to have him in my life Cal, he changed me in so many ways. "said Maura smiling. " I'm so lucky to have him, and every night I'm so glad to have him come and hold me and call me his. " said Maura.

" What about you Cal, find a special someone in your life?"Maura asked him smirking. " You always wanted me to find my special someone, what about you?"Maura asked him softly. " You deserve love just as much as me, your caring and sweet, any girl would be lucky to have you!"said Maura honestly. " It's time you find your special someone, I did now it's your turn."said Maura smiling. " Come on lets go to The Three Broomsticks, I'm dying for a butterbeer!"said Maura heading to the counter to pay for her things.

"Mars Ryo loves you more than anything in the world, even I can tell you that by the way he looks at you and holds you. " said Calum honestly. " He doesn't care if your moody, of course he maybe hurt that you snapped at him, but you know he hates to see you cry after he leaves so he stays. "said Calum softly. " Mars us guys don't need paybacks, it's the small things that matter to us. "said Calum. " Plus he probably thinks you're doing enough, carrying his baby girl for nine months and going through all that pain and sickness. "said Calum honestly. " I mean if I was in his position I would, nI know it must be hard for you to go through all that. " said Calum softly.

" Mars stop doubting yourself, you and Ryo are soul mates you two were meant to be together. "said Calum. " Besides Ryo chose you because you're beautifu, independent, caring and you brought a side out of him he tried to hide Maura love. " said Calum honestly. " You understood him Mars like no one else did, and now look at him he's happy and it's because of you!"said Calum. " Ryo probably thinks he's lucky to have you, you changed him Mars more than you'll ever know. "said Calum honestly.

Calum chuckled at her reply. " Mars girls think I'm to weird, I'm just the love advice giver. " said Calum honestly. " That and life advice. "Calum added. Calum was always the one that his friends went to on advice of any kind, he was always there to help. He couldn't tell you how many times Maura and Ryo came to him for advice. That was Calum for you, loyal and excellent advice giver.

Maura looked at him and smiled. " Aw...Thanks Cal."said Maura hugging him. "I just been feeling so bad lately for being so snappy to him Cal, I want to make it right. "said Maura softly. " I guess you're right Cal, being there and loving him is good enough for him. " said Maura. " He always tells me the same thing Cal, the small things I do makes him love me more and more. " said Maura softly. " I don't know what small things I do to him. " said Maura honestly.

" I'm not doubting myself Cal, I just don't know what I did to get so lucky to have him. " said Maura. " There's so many girls whi kill to be in my position, but Ryo's all mine like I'm all his. " said Maura smiling. Hearing Calum's words she looked at him shocked. " How you know all this Cal?" Maura asked him softly but curiously. "He didn't tell you all this did he?"Maura asked him softly. " If he did that was so sweet of him, but he always been a sweetheart. " said Maura honestly.

Maura shook her head. " No Cal you're more than that. " said Maura softly. " You will find the right girl just like me and Ryo found each other. " said Maura smiling. Calum was always good at giving them advice, but it was his time to take his own advice. " I bet if Ryo my husband was here, he'll tell you the same thing." said Maura honestly. "As a matter of fact, I know he would. "said Maura softly.

Calum looked at her and sighed. "You know the small stuff Mars, the things that make him love you more and more each day. " said Calum softly. " What are the small things to you Mars?"Calum asked her. " I'm sure your and Ryo's answers will be the same. "said Calum smiling. " That's just how love is when your with your soul mate and best friend. " said Calum honestly.

Calum chuckled at her question. " Yeah that and I know these things Mars!"said Calum chuckling. " Ryo loves you more than anything in the world Mars, there's nothing he wouldn't do for you. "said Calum honestly. "You honestly changed him Mars, without you he's like a lost puppy literally!"said Calum. It was true, Calum the week Maura was out cold after Henry hurt her, Ryo was there all week waiting for her to wake up. Maura was the same way, crazy how love made you that way.


"Thanks Mars, but for now I'll remain giving advice to you and everyone else."said Calum. " I honestly don't mind being single, but every now and then it would be nice to have someone. "said Calum honestly. " How does it feel now calling Ryo your husband now?"Calum asked her smirking. " I have to admit, it's going to take me a while to call you Maura Hiroku. "said Calum honestly. " But it does have a nice ring like it's meant for you to have it. " said Calum smiling.

"The small things to me is the was he smiles and laughs, I love the way he holds me I feel so safety and protected in his arms. " said Maura softly. " Ok... I get your point now Cal."said Maura softly smiling at him. "I'm really with my soul mate and best friend, there's nothing Ryo doesn't know about me. " said Maura honestly. " I remember them day I told Ryo everything about me, it was the day he asked me to be his girlfriend. " said Maura smiling at the memory. It was a great day, they spent all night talking and almost gotten caught for being out past curfew.

Maura chuckled at his words, "Well...he's my lost puppy cause I love everything about him, even when he worries about me. "said Maura. " It's like now, I'm suppose to be resting and if Ryo or the others find out they'll flip. "said Maura honestly. " It's nice but sometimes annoying, I know I should be careful but I'm not made of glass!"said Maura. " Although people been treating me that way since I started showing!"said Maura sighing. Art first Maura was ok with at, but after a while it started to bug her.

Maura nodded, "Well... as long as you're happy that's all that matters. " said Maura smiling. Maura chuckled at his reply. " It feels great, I'm loving calling him my husband. " said Maura honestly smiling. " I haven't gotten used to signing my name yet, I'm so used to signing my name!"said Maura honestly. " But I'm starting to get used to it, plus my signature is easier now I don't have to sign Goldstein anymore!"said Maura. " I think that's what getting me, I'm so used to signing a longer name. "said Maura chuckling. " I love my new last name, I wouldn't change it for the world, and it does have a nice ring to it. " said Maura honestly.
