Ryaura's wedding!

Today was the big day, and Maura was beyond nervous about the whole thing to be honest.  It didn't help that her pregnancy hormones were kicking in making emotional and somewhat snappy.  She couldn't help it though she just wanted this day to be perfect.  Now sitting in front of of mirror Maura was surrounded by people from hair stylist to a person doing her nails.  As the stylist tugged her tangled hair,  Maura let out an yelp before giving out a annoyed hiss.   "Is this all really necessary mum? Ryo always liked when I looked like myself. "said Maura grumbling as the hair stylist combed her hair. "Ow! Easy there,  I love my hair thank you very much!"said Maura wincing in pain.

After a hour of yelping,  Maura's hair was braided in a elegant braid with her hair in elegant curls and put back in a elegant twist on the side.  Looking out the window of the cottage her parents rented for the wedding Maura sighed looking at her three friends that were getting ready.   "Please tell me I still look like myself,  I don't want to look like a fake barbie doll!"said Maura softly as they started doing her make up.   "Don't worry pumpkin,  mummy would never make you look bad, you have that natural beauty that shines through. "her mother said as Maura smiled.  "Ok.. I trust you mum. "said Maura softly.

After hours of getting ready,  Maura was all done at last and she was finally able to look in the full length mirror.  "Maura you look so beautiful."said her mother dabbling her eyee with her red silky velvet handkerchief with a cursive 'C' in yellow on it. Her mother was wearing a red dress with a yellow ribbon tied around her waist with a yellow roses on it.  It matched the colors of the bride maids dresses,  which was red silk velvet material without a silk yellow ribbon that went around the waist.  Both and hers and Ryo's favorite colors.  Looking at the full length mirror,  Maura seen that her mother was indeed right.  "Ryo won't know what will hit him when he sees you walk down the aisle. "said her mother smirking.

Stepping into her dress,  Maura's mother busted into tears which made Maura hug her as she did.  "Mum this dress is beautiful mum, I can't believe you got this made for me!"said Maura softly.  "Anything for my pumpkin, plus you being pregnant just makes you look more beautiful. "said her mother smiling at her. Walking towards the window Maura looked down and smiled.  The place where Ryo asked her to be his girlfriend was beautifully decorated with yellow and red roses with a red velvet rug that led towards the altar.  It was beautiful,  and her and Ryo's parents went all out for the wedding.

" Oh god, I'm so freaking nervous. "said Maura softly pacing across the floor fiddling with her hands.   "I honestly don't know why I am,  I been waiting for this for a long time. "said Maura softly.   "I can't believe this day is finally happening!"said Maura happily.  Looking at Sophia, Hallie and Olivia she smiled.  "You three look beautiful. "said Maura hugging them. "Our lives are really changing, but for now better. "Maura thought to herself smiling to herself.

Maybe just maybe this marriage law wasn't bad for them, Hallie and Olivia were happy and so was she. Although she couldn't say the same for others out there, but her and her friends were pretty lucky. Almost all her friends gotten paired with who they wanted, beside Jaybee and Hallie but she came to love Theodore so maybe Jaybee could do the same? Although she felt bad for him, she knew he wanted to be with Kasumi. Maura didn't know how her and her some of her friends gotten so lucky.

"How did I get lucky?"Maura asked them softly knowing she'll probably get confused looks from her best friends. "I honestly dreamed of this day, but I honestly didn't think it would ever happen let alone with Ryo. "said Maura. "Of course I liked him before he ever liked me, but sometimes I can't help not to wonder what I ever did for him to fall in with me?"Maura asked softly. "I know it's silly for me to wonder this on my wedding day, but I can't help it."said Maura softly. "I'm just glad I have him, I love him more then anything, life without him would be useless. "said Maura. "Oh god I'm rambling aren't I?"Maura asked as her mother nodded.

"Maura Angela Goldstein you listen to me, Ryo is probably asking himself the same thing, but he fell for you because you have that beautiful quality to you inside and out that he loves and he loves that your sweet and caring that puts everyone needs before her own."said her mother softly. "Yeah but that's only small things. "said Maura softly as her mother shook her head. "Sometimes the small things you do, means the world to him. "said her mother smiling. "How you know all this mum? " Maura asked her softly. "Because your father tells me that every day and that he loves me. "said Maura's mother smiling before kissing her daughter forehead. Maura smiled before wiping some tears away as her mother told her that. "I'm ready to start the rest of my life as Maura Hiroku. "said Maura softly as she smooth out her dress as her father knocked on the door.

Hallie had her day, although today was very different from her wedding day. For starters there wasn't an overly-decorated great hall, the bride hadn't been pregnant and the couple-to-be had known each other for longer than a month. Maura's wedding was the wedding Hallie had wanted. To walk down the isle towards a man she knew, she loved, she wanted to have children with. At the time the blonde had come to do that she hadn't felt any of those towards Theodore but things had changed. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with Theodore - at least for the time being - although Hallie was certain about one thing: she loved him. Theodore was her husband and even though they bickered and irritated each other from time to time love was there.

'You look beautiful.' Hallie said as an uncontrollable smile glued tightly on her cheeks. It was a miracle Maura was here after all the drama she'd had in the recent years. Twice she'd suffered the attack from the murderous James and Hallie had lost count how many times her Hufflepuff friend had been admitted to St Mungo's. There was no denying how lucky Maura was. It was down to luck. Hallie liked to believe it was the talent of her friends who saved her but really they'd just been lucky. Lucky one of them could get away at the right time for help, lucky backup arrived just in time, lucky the healers at St Mungo's knew her body inside and out. Maura had been lucky and you could say she'd be lucky in love.

Whilst Maura spoke Hallie simply listened, waiting until she'd finished her talk. It was only natural to think about the start of her relationship as today was the start of the rest of her life with Ryo... Hopefully.

'You're more special than you think.' Hallie replied, her eyes bright and full of life as she stared back into Maura's. The clock chimed above their heads. It was time. Time for Maura to walk down the isle and start a fresh leaf of her life, hopefully a leaf that wasn't dipped in negativity or crazy men mutilating her.

It was also time for Hallie to walk down the isle, being a bridesmaid she too had the duty of that journey. The blonde had been worrying about that. Her leg was fine and she was used to the prosthetic, Hallie could even walk at normal speed but if she were to fall, well... Hallie tried not to think about that.

After looking up at the clock and realising they best get moving Hallie returned her gaze to Maura, her hands finding Maura's whilst that uncontrollable smile remained on her face. 'Are you ready?'

it was finally Maura and Ryo's big day, and she couldn't be happier for them. They were finally going to spend the rest of their lives together as one. After all the hell they went through this year, they finally deserve some happiness. Sophia never seen a couple more in love then Ryo and Maura were, there love was solid pillars of love. It reminded her of her and Andrian, but that was all in the past.

Besides, it was Maura and Ryo's day, and that was all that mattered. All she cared about was Ryo and Maura's happiness, if they were happy that's all she cared about. "Mars chill, I know my brother probably more then anyone, he's probably feeling the same as you. "said Sophia softly. "As a matter of fact, I know he is. "said Sophia feeling Ryo's nervousness before chuckling. "You look beautiful Mars, like your mum said, Ryo won't know what hit him. "said Sophia smiling. "I'm going to see Ry before we start, I sense he's nervous. "said Sophia softly.

Walking down a couple of doors, Sophia knocked on the door before entering. "Hey Ry, are you ok? I sense you were nervous. "said Sophia softly. "Don't lie to me Ryo, you know you can't with me. " said Sophia smirking. "You look sharp and handsome Ry, you ready?"Sophia asked him softly. "Don't be nervous, you both wouldn't be here if you two weren't meant to be. "said Sophia smiling at him.

"You'll do fine Ry, I know it's a big step but it'll all be worth it when you see Maura walk down that aisle. "said Sophia honestly. " You can do this Ry, don't tell me your getting cold feet?"Sophia asked him smirking. " If you are, don't make me curse your arse down the aisle cause I will!"said Sophia half joking and half serious. "Of course I know that's not true, cause you love her, clearly anyone can see that!"said Sophia. As the clock chimed above them telling them it was time Sophia smiled. "It's time Ry. "said Sophia softly as she hugged him.

"Merlin, why can't I get this on right?"

Ryo struggled with the tie he was going to wear. He was so nervous that he wasn't able to put something as simple as a tie on correctly. He wondered how he had even been able to get dressed today. He glanced behind him through the mirror in front of him and glared at the girl who sat on the bed behind him. "What's so funny Hit?" he asked.

"Oh nothing.." she responded, stifling her giggles as she jumped off the bed and walked over to him. "Here let me help." she told him and Ryo let his hands fall to his sides. He watched as the younger girl fixed his tie and he sighed. He hoped this was going to go well and nothing would ruin it. This was supposed to be a good day. It was supposed to be a day filled with happiness, but Ryo couldn't help but think that something would go wrong.

"Stop worrying Ryo." Hitame broke though his thoughts as she spoke and pulled on the tie hard, almost choking him. "Hey! Watch it Hit! I need to be alive for this!" he shouted. Hitame giggled and Ryo rolled his eyes at the girl. "I'm serious though Ry. Stop worrying, nothing will go wrong." Ryo sighed and nodded. Hitame was right, there was no way things could just go wrong.

Olivia smiled at Maura as she hugged the three girls that were in there with her. "Ryo really doesn't know what a catch he has with you Mars." she told the older girl softly. She knew how nervous Maura must be with everything that was going on right now. Marriage was a big step and even though this wasn't her wedding, Olivia wouldn't help but think that some day soon she would be in the same position.

Olivia looked at the clock and smiled at her friend once again. It was almost time to start and the Werewolf couldn't help but feel excited about this.

Hitame placed herself back onto the bed where she had been before as a knock on the door was heard. Her face lit up when she saw Sophia enter and she ran to the girl. "Hi Soph!" she said hugging her quickly before stepping away, feeling a little bit embarrassed. She seemed like a little girl who was happy to see her mother, which was something Sophia wasn't and she was certainly not a little girl.

Ryo looked at Sophia and nodded, knowing that hiding how he felt from her wouldn't do him any good. She was his sister and he couldn't hide anything from her. "I might be a little nervous." he admitted and Hitame giggled again. "A little? Ry, you couldn't even get your tie on correctly until I helped you." she said, raising an eyebrow at him. "Oh shush, Hitame Anabelle." he smirked at her. Hitame stuck her tongue out at him and looked away, crossing her arms over her chest with indignation.

"Don't worry Soph. I won't back out." he told her. When Sophia said it was time, Hitame got serious and Ryo stiffened. It was time. He was going to get married right now and it was to the girl that he loved. "I'm ready." he told her softly, knowing that if he had a beating heart, right now it would be beating so hard that he would feel like it was about to jump out of his chest.

Sam sat on the bed beside Hitame smirking as his best friend struggled to put on a simple tie. up,  ok"Dude chill, nothing going to go wrong. "said Sam.  Seeing Shane smirking at him,  Sam rolled his eyes at him. "What the bloody hell are you smirking about? "Sam asked annoyed.  "Oh nothing mate, I just thought you said you'll never wear a tux after that wedding we went to? "Shane asked him smirking.  "Hey shut it,  I'm here to support my two g best friends who happened to get married!" said Sam.

"I'm doing the same, but my girl is part of the wedding. "said Shane. "Dude shut up,  were here to help Ryo who's nervous as hell."said Sam.  "Dude it'll be ok,  me and Soph will be right there nothing going to go wrong we'll make sure of it. "said Sam.   As the door opened he smiled as Sophia walked in. "Hey Soph "said Sam softly.  As the clock told them it was time,  Sam looked at Ryo. "Come on man,  you can do this. "said Sam.   "Well my escort is already here,  you ready Soph? "Sam asked as Sophia nodded.   "Shall we Soph? " Sam asked as Sophia laughed and smiled "Yes lets go Sammy. "said Sophia.

"Shane go Livi,  oh crap I forgot I got to escort Hallie down the isle as well. "said Sam.  Shane nodded.  As they walked out the room and walked towards the girls room, they knocked on the door.   "Knock, Knock, is everyone ready? "Sam asked softly.  "Wow... you all look beautiful. "said Sam softly.   "You ready Hal, I'm your and Sophia's escort. "said Sam smiling.  Shane walked over towards Olivia and smiled.  "You look beautiful Livi, you ready? were behind Soph, Sam and Hallie. "said Shane simply.

"I got two girls mate, you only got one."said Sam smirking as Shane rolled his eyes. "Dude shut up, Ryo is suppose to be at the alter by now right? "Shane asked.   "He suppose to go in front of us, then we'll go, god you remember the rehearsal we had?"Sam asked shaking his head.   "Dude shut up,  It's time! "said Shane.   "Ryo get your arse out here,  It's time man believe me your nerves would go away when you see Mars!"said Sam.

Hearing a knock on the door,  Maura snapped out of her trance and smiled when she seen her father.  " Hi Daddy!"said Maura hugging him.  "Hey princess you look beautiful,  you ready?"her father asked as Maura nodded.   " Yes I am. "said Maura softly as she wrapped her arm around his.  Taking a deep breath,  seen everyone taking their seats waiting for the wedding to begin and Maura to make her big entrance.  

Maura's heart was beating so hard she was sure that it was about to beat out of her chest.   Noticing that his daughter was a bit nervous he chuckled.  " It's ok to be nervous Mars,  it's a big step. "said her father softly.  " I know but I'm ready for it. "said Maura smiling.  " It's going to be hard letting my little girl go, you mean the world to me besides your mother and brother. "said her father.  " I'll always be your little girl daddy no matter what,  nothing can ever change that!"said Maura softly.

About to see her father cry,  Maura hugged him  trying to keep herself from crying.  She only seen her father cry a couple times, it made her cry to see him cry.  Of course they were happy tears,   she knew her father was crying because she was happy.  Even though if it meant letting her go,  he knew she'll always think of him as her number one.   He was always forever in her heart.

As her mother looked at her and her father, she looked at them with tears in her eyes before hugging them. " I'm glad we're taking pictures after the wedding, cause you two look so cute together!"said her mother as Maura chuckled. " Of course we do, we always do when were together don't wear daddy?"Maura asked him softly. " Sure do, been that way since you were born. "said her father smiling. " Well I better go, we'll about to start!"said her mother before disappearing into the crowd to her seat.

"Well, I should probably get going. I need to get to my seat before all of you start walking in." Hitame said before turning to Ryo and planting a kiss on his cheek. She smiled at him and said, "Don't worry Ry. You'll do just fine." The girl walked out of the room and left Ryo alone for the few minutes before Sam called his name and told him to get out there because they needed to start the ceremony.

Ryo sighed as Hitame walked out of the room and he was left alone. It didn't take long for him to remember that he was the one who was supposed to be at the alter already and he was already coming out of the room when Sam called his name and told him to get out of the room. "I'm going, I'm going!" The Vampire called as he walked out of the room and headed for the main room where the wedding was being held.

As he walked up to the alter, Ryo caught a glimpse of Hitame who smiled at him from her seat. He glanced around the room to see if he could find his twin sister, but he gave up when he noticed that she wasn't there. Why would she be there? She didn't even want to see him anymore, Sayuri disappeared a little while ago and hadn't said anything to Ryo since probably a day or two before she left when she told him that she hated him and didn't want anything anymore to do with him.

Hitame tried her best to give Ryo a reassuring smile as he passed by her to get to the alter and when he reached it, she knew that he was looking for someone. She knew he was hoping to find his other sister there, but she also knew that Sayuri wouldn't be there. Ryo had told her what had happened between them and she knew that Sayuri hated him to an extent. She didn't think it would be enough to keep her from seeing her brother get married but she'd been wrong. It made her sad that Ryo's only other family - the one he had known about since before - wasn't there to support him.

Olivia nodded at Shane and wrapped her arm around his before glancing around the room. She was glad that this wedding wasn't like Trisha and Caspian's. This wedding was being done out of love, true love, while the other one was done out of compliance for a stupid law. She hated thinking that one of her best friends was married against his will, but at least she knew that he cared about the girl that he married, and she cared for him to an extent too.

She heard music start to play and Olivia's ears perked up, like a puppy's, and she looked at everyone. "Guys. isn't that our cue?" she asked. "After we enter, the music's gonna change and then Maura goes in, right?" she asked, trying to remember how to everything had been done with Caspian and Trisha's wedding. She sighed and tried to calm her nerves, knowing that nothing could go wrong in this wedding since there was nothing unsettling about it.

Calum sat in his seat watching as his two best friends turned a new leaf in their life. Seeing Ryo walking towards the alter he gave him a reassuring smile. He wasn't going to miss this for the world, it was his best friends big day. Calum sat beside Hitame before looking back as the music changed.

Shane's ears perked up not ro long after Olivia's did and nodded. " Your right Livi love. "said Shane before turning to Sam. " Dude stop checking Hit out, it's time!"Shane said as Sam jumped as Shane looked at Olivia and smirked. " Shut up, I was not!"said Sam. " You know Sam, there's a river in Egypt call the Nile!"said Shane. " Would you shut up already?"Sophia asked them annoyed by them.

Linking arms with Hallie and Sophia, Sam headed down the aisle towards the alter. After he lead them to the alter Sam took his place beside Ryo. Shane following behind Sam, he walked Olivia up to the alter before smiling and winking at everyone before taking his seat beside Calum. As the music changed to the bridal march they all smiled. It was hard to believe that it was Maura, it didn't even look like her.

Well.... it did, but she looked happy and radiant, Calum and Shane couldn't help not to smile. Sam simply smiled for he already seen Maura but he was sure Ryo was going to be speechless. He was when he saw her, she looked absolutely gorgeous and radiant. " Careful man, don't drool all over yourself when you see Mars. "Sam muttered to Ryo. Although he didn't know what Ryo would do, Maura haven't even reached him yet.

Before taking her place, Sophia looked ar Ryo before giving him a comforting smile. " It's going to be ok. " Sophia mouthed to him. He knew he was nervous that something bad was going to happen, but Sophia assured him that nothing was as long as she was here. Over her dead body was anyone going to mess up this day. If anyone did, Sophia would make sure that they didn't see daylight again.

As she heard the bridal march she smiled as she seen Maura standing before them. Seeing the happiness on Maura's face and eyes made her smile. She couldn't believe her brother and Maura her best friend were finally getting married. She knew this day would come, ever since she rescued Maura from the first time she was tortured. Oddly enough, she knew they would start dating before Ryo even asked her out. Sophia just had a gut feeling and she was right about everything oddly enough.

She didn't want to brag about it, for she herself wasn't sure about everything. Although she knew that it was going to happen, Maura and Ryo were meant for each other. Although through all the hell they went through together, it only made them stronger. Plus there life was already written out for them, they were about to be married and they were having a baby girl. Sophia was glad things worked out for them, she'll really couldn't see Maura and Ryo without each other. They completed each other, and anyone could see that.

Seeing Maura walking down the aisle with her father Sophia thought Maura looked radiant and beautiful. Her natural beauty on top of her pregnancy hormones made her glow beautifully. Her dress was just beautiful, and it was very much like Maura's personality. Maura looked like herself but she didn't, she simply looked beautiful and elegant. She could tell Maura was happy, her expression and posture said it all.

Sophia noticed she also had that sassy body language going on as well, made Sophia smirk. She had that 'yes I'm finally getting married to Ryo after everyone said we wouldn't last ' look in her posture. Sophia knew so many people doubted them after they started dating and Ryo graduated. But it gotten worse after Maura gotten pregnant, people told her Ryo would leave her for someone else. But he never did, and lookon where they are now.

As the bridal march played Maura looked at her father and smiled at him giving him a reassuring squeeze on the arm.  As he doors opened Maura smiled happily at Ryo from the alter before squeezing her father's arm.  Feeling her father's grip tighten on her Maura chuckled to herself.  As her guided down the aisle towards the alter Maura smiled warmly at everyone.   Maura was glowing with happiness,  she honestly didn't know if she looked beautiful but she must,  everyone was in awe by her.

Passing the smiling faces of her friends and loved ones,  Maura finally reached the alter.  As the music stopped playing her father helped her up the alter to stand in front of Ryo.  His grip still around Maura's arm Maura chuckled and whispered to him.  " Daddy it's time to let go, don't worry I'll be fine. 'said Maura softly.   As he let go of her and gave her to Ryo Maura's kissed her father's cheek.   " Take care of my little girl Ryo, she's your possession now. " said her father softly before sitting down beside her mother.

" Sorry about that Ry love,  you know how he is over me. "Maura muttered softly to him.   Her father was always protected of her,  but she didn't blame him she was his only daughter.   Locking hands with him she smiled happily at him.   " Love you."Maura mouthed at him looking lovingly into his eyes.  There was love and happiness in her eyes, it was clear just by looking into her eyes. If it wasn't her eyes, then it was there smile on her face that glowed through the crowd.

Maura couldn't believe this day was here,  she dreamt of this day since she met Ryo.  It was crazy how far came since a year ago.   They went alot since then,  but it made them stronger as a couple.   There were so many people that doubted them,  after Ryo graduated but after she gotten pregnant it gotten worse.   They always told her Ryo would leave or cheat on her with someone more prettier and not pregnant,  but Maura didn't believe it.  Ryo remained faithful and loved her through the good and the bad.

Here she stood before the love of her life,  ready to start the rest of her life forever with him by her side.   She couldn't believe after this day,  she was going to be Ryo's wife from this day on.  She no longer was going to be Maura Goldstein but Maura Angela Hiroku.
