11 AM Meeting

Ana couldn’t quite believe that she was so close to completing her meeting quota, the last day of Hogwarts meetings having arrived. She could only hope that the meetings passed even more quickly than usual. There was the saying that when one wanted something to happen, it often took longer than they hoped it would. Unfortunately, Ana was starting to understand that idea like never before. The minutes between meetings felt like hours, though she supposed it was a little bit dramatic. Regardless, the impatience remained as the day passed.

This was to be her last meeting before lunch, and Mrs. Levski was convinced she would be able to distract herself for that hour. If nothing else, she was determined to find something to do besides eating and waiting. Her thoughts drifted to the book in her shoulder bag before she caught sight of the time. The students were due any moment now, and Ana surprised herself with how jumpy she felt.

Pulling the files for the students she was expecting, Ana had to mentally calm herself before she started fidgeting visibly. An antsy Ministry employee certainly wouldn’t look helpful. The last thing Ana wanted was to look unprepared or like she would take any snide comments they threw her way. Shifting in her chair, she watched the door, ready for it to be over with. It had been left ajar so that the students could walk in without Ana having to walk over and open it for them upon their arrival. After several meetings like that, she was tired of having to greet each one individually when she could just as easily allow them to walk in without the annoyance of it.

It was a normal Monday morning, owl post came as usual but there was one thing Shane seen that ruined his whole day. Putting his fudge into his bookbag from Mrs . Knight, as well his mother letter before opening the ministry letter. Reading his letter quickly he stuffed it into his bookbag before heading towards DADA. "Ugh.. this day ia just getting better and better!"Shane thought to himself sarcastically. Rolling his eyes at himself he quickly grabbed some toast and a apple before running out the Great Hall.

Sweaty and out of breath, Shane took his seat in his normal seat. As much as he loved DADA his mind was elsewhere thinking about his dreaded appointment. Before he knew it, the bell rung making him jump out of his seat. Grabbing his books he stuffed them into his bookbag before heading towards the guidance office. Walking as slowly as he could, after a few minutes he reached the office.

Seeing the door opened, Shane walked into the room and took a seat in the second chair. "Good morning Ms . Levski. "said Shane softly. Running his hand through his hair, Shane waited for his match. Shane already knew what to expect, his friends told them about their meetings and how they went. Although he knew what to expect, that still didn't help calm his nerves.

It was finally here. The day of her meeting. Every day she watched as people left classes for their meetings and she was left with an upset stomach. Soon that would be her, that was all she could think. She would be the one that would soon have to leave through the door to go to the meeting that could basically ruin her life.

She looked at the clock wearily every few minutes and when she saw it was finally time to go, the girl picked up her bag and walked out of class. She could tell that some students in the class were talking about her. They were probably wondering who was unlucky enough to be stuck with the antisocial freak that she was.

Olivia couldn't say that she was hurt by comments like that. She was used to it as unfortunate as it was. Taking a deep breath, the Werewolf walked down to the Guidance Office feeling he was going to pass out at any moment. She was so nervous about everything and she really didn't want to go. She wished she could just skip the meeting, Azkaban didn't even sound so bad anymore.

The girl shook her head, pushing the thoughts out of her head. What was she thinking? She couldn't let someone else end up in Azkban because she was scared or being stupid. She had to stop being a wimp over everything. When she reached the door, she stopped a few steps in front of it, looking into the office, catching a glimpse of Mrs. Levski.

The Ravenclaw continued walking and knocked on the door before stepping in. "Good morning.." She said in a soft voice before her gaze fell upon her match, who had arrived before her. "S - Shane?" She asked with a smile forming on her face.

Hearing a familiar  beautiful voice call out to him, Shane looked at her and smiled.  "Inside and out,  unless you know someone else named Shane. "said Shane smirking at her.  "Oh my goodness Livi,  were matched together!"said Shane softly.  "Now I don't have to worry about someone taking you cause your all mine now!"said Shane smiling.  "Believe me,  I'm not letting you go either. "said Shane softly as  he gotten up and hugged her.

Seeing her in a shock like state,  Shane chuckled.  "Livi your not dreaming if that's what your thinking,  this is real and I'm here. "said Shane softly.   "Come on Livi love,  I'm sure Ms. Levski is just as hungry as we are,  so lets not keep her any longer then we should. "said Shane.  Taking his seat once again,  he smiled at Ms. Levski before smiling back Olivia.  "You want to sit on my lap to calm your nerves or do you want to sit in your chair?"Shane asked Olivia softly.  He could tell that she was nervous,  he was himself.

Of course he always wanted to marry Olivia one day,  but everything else that included in this meeting didn't cross his mind.  Shane was always gentle with Olivia,  after knowing her pass, he didn't do anything Olivia didn't want to do.  But now that he was going to have to,  Shane didn't feel right about it.  He wanted to marry Olivia when he wanted to,  not when the ministry wanted him to.  After all,  he just asked her to marry him less then a few days ago.   Looking at her wearing the ring,  he smiled at how beautiful it looked on her.

But for some reason his mind wasn't really here, for some reason he was feeling guilty because of everything he'll now have to do to Olivia. He honestly felt dirty and like a player, something Shane wasn't. He honestly wants all this, but in time, his friends told him what the ministry wanted from them. It made Shan disgusted at how the ministry thought now days. Shane honestly didn't want to marry Olivia until he was out of Hogwarts and had a job to support her. Although that wouldn't be long, but that was besides the point.

Ana glanced up as the door opened, offering a small smile in greeting as the Gryffindor entered. “Morning,” she replied lightly, organizing the files in front of her so she could see the cover page for each of the students at the same time; for all she knew, it would come in handy. Recently she had been required to hold a meeting for a werewolf and a vampire, and nearly wanted to head back to the Ministry and throttle whoever had put them together. Whoever had failed to check on that. Better to be prepared, she decided.

Just as Ana was about to say they could give his match a few minutes, as the meeting wasn’t quite due to start, the door opened again and the girl walked in. The Ministry employee’s mouth opened to return the greeting when Olivia turned to the Gryffindor and seemed overly pleased with the turn of events.

A small frown fell over Ana’s features as she watched their greeting. It wasn’t that she wasn’t slightly glad that they had been matched together and were happy with it; no, indeed. It was more that their display was rather disgusting to one without any sort of relationship for herself. Sure, she had Pavel but at the same time, there was no use in pretending that the marriage was something it couldn’t be. Trying to push the frustration from her mind, Ana simply waited for the students to get situated before leveling them with a rather exasperated look.

“If you’re ready I’ll start going over the next few weeks and what to expect.” She waited for them to nod or reply in the affirmative before continuing and forcing out the tired and over-given speech. “The next two weeks were meant to be the time in which you would get to know each other; you clearly already have gotten to that point, though. So, by the end of thirty days you will need to have officiated your marriage and filed it with the Ministry. Other than that, the ceremony and how you do it is entirely up to you. Today all we need to do is answer your questions and I’ll perform a fertility test on each of you. If you’d like, I can tell you the gender of your first child while doing Mr. Diamond’s test. If not, that’s fine, too. You’ll have three years, as stated in the law, to have the child.”

Looking between the two, Ana relaxed into her chair and added, “Any questions?”

Olivia shook her head at Shane's offer to sit in his lap and she took a seat in her chair, before looking at Mrs. Levski, feeling just a little bit embarrassed about they way they were acting. It was probably natural for them to act like that, considering they could have been separated because of the law, but she still didn't think it was.. well.. right to act that way in front of people. Especially someone like Mrs. Levksi, who was an important person in the Ministry.

She just couldn't believe that she had gotten so lucky as to be matched with the guy she liked. No, with the guy she loved. It just didn't seem like it was possible.

The girl listened to Mrs. Levksi as she spoke and thought of anything that she could ask. Though she thought Mrs. Levski would prefer that no questions be asked so they could all leave earlier. She didn't want to hold the woman up since she had been there, doing the same exact thing the entire day.

When she finished, panic suddenly rose within Olivia. "Um.. Do we really have to have a child?" she asked softly. Shane would know why she suddenly seemed so afraid, but she knew Mrs. Levski wouldn't and she probably wouldn't understand why she was reacting that way.

Shane remained in his seat a bit embrassed by his behavior he displayed in front of Ms . Levski. It was natural behavior for them, but maybe to others it was sickening. But Ms . Levski was a important women, and this was an important matter. Clearing his throat, Shane listened to what she said nodding every now and then to tell her he was listening. Although Shane knew all about this due to his friends telling him how the meeting went, but it was rude to ignore people.

Shane felt Olivia tense up beside him as Ms . Levski talked about having a baby. "Uh-oh, this isn't good Livi lost Lily, she wasn't the same after she lost her."Shane thought to himself. Shane looked at Olivia and gave her a comforting smile letting her know he was there for her. Taking her hand, he locked hands with her and squeezed her hand softly. "It'll be ok Livi. " said Shane softly.

" So um... for this testing, what exactly do we have to do?"Shane asked Ms.Levski. Shane honestly preferred things the muggle way, if Olivia ever did get pregnant he preferred her finding out what they were having the muggle way like Maura and Ryo did with Ciara. That was the whole excitement of it, waiting to see what you were going to have. Although he wasn't going to do anything Olivia didn't want to do even if the law wanted them to.
