Crystal balls were spread across the classroom, populating every wooden round table. The fireplace was burning a sunset orange whilst a wind-chime by the open window jingled lightly. The scent of hot chocolate danced luring around the room and into the nostrils of Mary Mist.
Today was going to be a good day, hopefully. That morning Mary had noticed the weather to be dull and cloudy, giving the appearance of a crystal ball. Her first class would be consulting the ball today, how coincidental. No. Nothing was coincidental, the entire world was one big crystal ball and today the weather reflected that. Mary was happy.
Taking a sip of her milky hot chocolate Mary sighed peacefully. That morning at breakfast once again her jug of pumpkin juice had been knocked over by an owl delivering The Daily Prophet to Professor Cooper. Unlike the times before, however, Mary thought back the tears. The owl appeared conscious, the pumpkin juice was dried in an instant by Amelia and nothing seemed to have been wrong anymore. Absolute perfection.
Mary was in one of those moods, a mood where the world was perfect. Despite the gloomy clouds and the freezing cold air through the open window waltzing unusually with the flames earth was the new heaven. Mary predicted, after starting the day on such a high, nothing could go wrong. Every student would simply cry with happiness at how much they would enjoy her lessons planned out for today. Today was a good day. Such a good day, despite it only being two minutes to nine, that Mary felt her bottom lip wobble. Clutching her neck the seer breathed in heavily. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Exhale. Tears were due to fall, tears of happiness, and in spite of being carefree and positive Mary didn't need the students to notice her emotion instability - even though they most likely had having attended teary lesson after teary lesson for the past month Mary had been teaching.
