Fred entered and Jack glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow and letting her mouth twitch into a smile, though she said nothing else. It would be better for them to not pair up, she knew, because she knew they could survive together anyway. If they really wanted to push themselves, they would pair themselves with a challenge. For it, that meant the Morgan woman - Jack remembered the irritating run in they had shared... you know. Jack decided she would tough this out on her own if she had too. She didn't want to get tried for murder during training.
She knew she'd need the others, but she also knew a lot of her own talents were best revealed when she went slightly rogue. Nevertheless, she would try to play nice. She felt something at her leg and glanced down, smirking a bit. "Hey, Hiss. My eyes are up here."
She was ready to go. "I'm ready."

Claire was not certain how she would fit in with this group. No one struck her as someone that was her sort of people. And that's when Fred Weasley walked in. She would never admit the small feeling of relief in her, because the look of dread beat the relief to show itself on her face. If she were going to fail, of course it would be in front of Fred Weasley. And he would never forget either.
She had to stop thinking like she was going to fail. She had not failed yet, after all. She kept in a groan, but a silent one crossed her features as she met his eyes. This was going to be... something.
