Training Camp for Law Enforcement?

Hey,

For those of you in the Law Enforcement Department--

I've been giving serious thought to offering a Winter Training Camp for the Law Enforcement Department. Perhaps where the aurors and the patrol would be in one camp and perhaps a subforum for the Unspeakables to hone their skills in private.

I've considered whether we might decide to hone not only magical skills but perhaps either some survival skills or simulations or honing perhaps some muggle skills that law enforcement might find necessary--physical fitness, climbing, swimming, etc.

What do you think? Would you be interested? Anybody have any ideas to add to it?

The only one I've got right now is Ana and lord knows she'd avoid it (aka, I'd opt out so I can get myself to start the meetings. That's what I'm up to currently anyways xD ). But it does sound like tons of fun!

So, I don't have anyone is Law Enforcement (do you want me to create one for plotting? I've had this one charrie in my mind for a while, and I'd only need to tweak her a little to toss her into Law Enforcement. She'd also be a DE, or at least allied with them via Kat-Car.)

THIS SOUNDS BRILLIANT! Also, if you need more people, you could toss in other important Ministry members. After all, with Robert Lupin gone, the Ministry can't afford to loose any more higher-up employee's. All (or just the ones not all that good at protecting themselves) could be drafted (perhaps part-time?) into the Camp to learn to defend themselves if necessary.

We definitely need more characters involved in law enforcement, on all three teams there.

I love the idea of the draft and of involving other Ministry members.

I'm having a laugh visualizing some of the more sedentary characters trying to cope with a winter survival camp. HAH!

I'll be creating another character then! You have two options. A french DE in an law enforcement position, who is very good friends with Kat-Car, and basically runs the French black market. (She's been an OC in my threads for months). Or an Order Member in the law enforcement, perhaps a ex-healer? (She'd be first non-DE adult!).

If you end up doing the draft, Rivah Trenton would be less than pleased to be involved. I would be quite please to write her displeasure, however.
