Rivah refrained from snorting in amusement as Katrina-Carlotta entered the room, demanding everyone's attention as she so often did. The blonde was not an idiot, nor had she been raised around dangerous people like so many other Death Eaters had. In other words, Rivah was completely and utterly terrified of the other two females in the room.
They were both dark, deadly, and cold. The woman knew that she would never stand a chance against either of them in any kind of magical confrontation. Scorpius Malfoy would be more of an even fight, as far as the witch could tell. The Malfoy was certainly the more magically powerful of the two, but Rivah knew that she was more intelligent. Still, that didn't mean that she was particularly keen to find out.
Rivah knew very little of Henry Yewbeam, she doubted that he could be of much danger to her, but wouldn't discredit him entirely. After all, ten years ago she'd been ranked "most harmless" in her year by a student-run survey at school. At the time, it had probably been true. But Merlin, she was far from harmless now. After all, look where she was.
Then Blackthorn began to speak. She informed them of the basics of why they were there, careful not to go into any specifics. When she got to the dangers involved, Rivah shifted in her chair. A moment or two after the older woman finished speaking, Rivah stood as if to leave.
Her curiosity was buzzing like a bee that wouldn't stop circling her head; but she couldn't. The woman was so very tempted to stay and get involved, but wasn't sure if it was worth risking her job. And then, of course, there was Cael.
The blonde was about to take a step towards the door, when she caught Katrina-Carlotta's eyes. The assassin made sure their eye contact was strong, and then raised a single brow. Rivah hesitated, suddenly unsure if leaving was wise. Clearly, the other witch knew something she didn't. Probably noticing the hesitation, the European's lips curled into an amused smirk.
Letting out a small huff of air, the youngest witch gave a nod of recognition before allowing herself to fall back into her seat. The Department Head respected Katrina-Carlotta just as much as she feared her. If the dangerous witch though she should say, she would stay. "Understood," Rivah informed Isla simply. Damn assassin.
