Don't think you know me, cause you don't!

Ugh... why was she here? she obviously hated the sound of kids laughter more then anything right now. The sound of laughter and happiness was really starting to get on her nerves and annoy the crap out of her. Lily didn't use to be this way, she was once a good girl who loved laughing and had no cares in the world, that was all the sudden changed when she lost everything she loved. She lost her best friend which was her sister Alexis and her boyfriend. It crushed and angered Lily, it showed a side of her she never thought she'll ever show.

Walking down the crowded street of Hogsmeade, she pushed a couple of kids out of the way as she walked. Lily smirked as she seen a couple of them fall towards the ground. "Ah... pathetic kids."Lily muttered to herself. Reaching the three broomsticks she pushed opened the door as she winced at the sound of laughter. Walking up towards the bartender she ordered a butterbeer simply because she needed it after drinking her pain away last night. As the bartender set her butterbeer down she threw the money at him and took a drink of her butterbeer.

Wincing at the taste of it, Lily took another drink of it realizing it wasn't that bad but it sure wasn't firewhiskey. She gotten so used to drinking firewhiskey she forgotten what the taste of other things tasted like. Lily buried her depression into firewhiskey and doing other dangerous things to herself. She also given up on things she loved, drawing and sketching due to it reminding her of her sister. Lily also turned a bit darker, she even considered joining the death eaters and becoming a werewolf like her sister was.

Ben had recently wrote to his brother but he wasn't answering, they hated each other but still cared.He was worried he hadn't seen, talked, wrote or fought with his brother in a year.He was worried something had happened to him, and he knew that if it had he couldn't live with himself if he hadn't resolved the problems that he and his brother had.He had no clue of where the heck his brother was he just didn't want to think about it so he headed to the Three Broomstick to drown his worries with Firewhiskey.

He apparated in Hogsmead and took a walk.He liked walks he could think and he wanted to think about it for a while and make himself feel a little bit calm and then get drunk, even if he had to lie to himself to accomplish the former.He didn't know what was this feeling he had never felt this about his brother but he didn't know what it was.He just knew it didn't feel good.

When he got there he already had the money in his hand "The whole bottle of Firewhiskey please."He asked the bartender."Here you go."Said the bartender as he gave the bottle to Ben and Ben gave him the money.Ben noticed that Lily D'eath was there, he was friends with her and she looked like she felt like he felt.He moved closer to her"Long time no see,Lily.Bartender can you give me two shot glasses please."The bartender gave him the glasses."So why are you sporting a long face?"He said as he poured the two shots and passed one to Lily.

Lily winced at the sound of a familiar voice. It was Ben Jefferson, a good friend of hers at Hogwarts. She haven't seen him since they graduated and she honestly missed him. He was always there to cheer her up when she needed it, for the longest time she had a crush on him. Although after they graduated she never seen him again and she started going out with Sebastian until he disappeared. It was shortly after she lost Alexis as well, that she started feeling this way.

"You'll be feeling the same way Ben if you lost everything you loved, your sister and your boyfriend."Lily spat at him. Lily wasn't the same Lily as he remembered, she changed alot since then. It was like her personality did a complete 360 twist. Seeing a third year trip as they walked in, Lily laughed. Seeing Ben looked at her she shrugged. "What that was funny!"said Lily laughing evilly.

"You know Ben, I'm liking this new side of me, I have little to no emotions and I feel stronger!"said Lily honestly. "I can't believe I didn't do this sooner, I'll be a great and Loyal death eater my father would be so proud!"said Lily. "Not to mention the rest of my family!"said Lily happily. Lily was always the odd one that didn't want to be evil, she always rebelled against her family ways, but now she wasn't.

He didn't completely understood her but he felt bad too,he was worried for his brother.He knew she missed her sister, he did too but he couldn't admit it to himself even less to someone else."I'm sorry I wasn't here to support you, I kind of did what my brother did I disappeared."He gave a small hint that he was worried about his brother but it wasn't that noticeable.He drank his shot"Are you gonna drink yours or may I?"

"But what's life with out emotion, Lily,it's boring and dull, there are some parts that suck like this one but in the end this gets you closer to the people who are really there for you." He wanted to show her that showing no emotion and hiding it from everyone including herself was not going to make her life better, maybe easier but not better."So what have you been up to?"

Lily shook her head. "It's ok Ben, don't blame yourself for not being there."said Lily softly. "I guess I sort should of seen it coming, seeing how the rest of my family disappeared it was only a matter of time before Alexis either died or disappeared as well."said Lily sighing. Taking the shot of firewhiskey Lily downed it like it was nothing to her. "Why you disappear Ben?"Lily asked him curiously but softly.

Lily looked at him and shurruged. "I just don't want to feel the hurt and the pain Ben, so I turned it off."said Lily softly. "You know me being part vampire, I tend to let my vampire side take over me."said Lily honestly. When he asked what she been up to she shrugged. "Not a whole lot."said Lily obviously lying. She wasn't about to tell him she been drinking firewhiskey everyday and taking dangerous potions.

"I didn't exactly disappear I just went out of the country to my Uncle's.He lives in Australia, I wanted to visit him and I was looking for something to do and he told me that he was an auror but that he could help me follow my father's steps and become a healer."He explained why he'd been out of the country.He poured himself a second shot and he drank it."He was an intern in St. Mungos and he had been teaching me some of it so when I became an Intern I wasn't so lost." He poured himself another shot and he took it.He didn't have much tolerance to alcohol so after that he started getting tipsy.He was kind of a truthful drunk, he told the truth but he didn't spill anyone's secrets.

"I know, and I get you.Little secret of mine I'm kind of worried for my brother, since 2025 no one has seen him or talked to him, I just don't want any unresolved problems with him, I just want to be on good terms with him but I can't find him."He was admitting it to someone else but this was his drunk personality."I don't want him to become a ghost and haunt me."Said Ben jokingly.

Lily nodded understanding what he meant. "I wish I could of, but every time I try getting away my family pulls me back in."said Lily sighing. "Maybe I just need to get away from my family for awhile, maybe it'll do some good."said Lily. Taking a sip of her butterbeer she looked at Ben and smiled weakly at him. "Well... that's good you got to learn something new."said Lily softly. Lily was already drunk, she had plenty of firewhiskey before she came here.

Lily looked at him and frowned. "Oh Ben I'm so sorry!"said Lily hugging him. "I guess seeing how you told your secret, I'll tell you mine."said Lily softly. "I been hurting myself pyhsically and emotionally, I been drinking every night and I been taken various potions."said Lily softly. "That isn't all I been doing either."said Lily honestly.

"My parents are too busy to try and make me stay and anyways I left to visit my uncle so they weren't fuzzing over me going out of the country."He was never too far away from someone in his family.In England he had his parents and in Australia he had his Uncle.The other times he had gone out of the country was for family vacations.

He hugged her back"I'm guessing you feel worse so today is not for me but for you.Shall I get into my psychologist self?And how does that make you feel?"He didn't know what to say to her after she told him she was harming himself, well he had one thing."You shouldn't do that because when you go back to normal self you'll regret it."

Lily nodded. "Well... my family aren't really the caring type, you know that there mainly all death eaters."said Lily softly. "I think I'm going to move away from my family, perhaps start a new life for myself."said Lily softly. "I don't waht to do Ben, but I know I can't stay with my family I don't want to be like them!" said Lily sighing.

Lily chuckled and shook her head. "You don't have to do that Ben, but it's sweet of you that you care."said Lily honestly. Lily shook her head. "Ben I think I'm way pass the point of return, I haven't been my self in months and to be honest I'm ok with it."said Lily softly. "Maybe it was just a matter of time before the evilness came to me!"said Lily honestly. "Although I try so hard not to let it get to me Ben, but it's winning and there's a part of me that wants it to, like what's the point of fighting it?"Lily asked him softly.

"You'll find a point for fighting, believe me.And when you do find it you'll come back because you're a strong person.You can't ever loose the hope that you'll find it, the last thing you loose is hope."He wasn't very good at comforting people but he still managed to be decent at it or at slats he thought such a thing.

"The best remedy besides alcohol,even though alcohol is actually not that good, is getting your mind off of the things that are bothering you so we are going somewhere fun where you can distract yourself.So where do you want to go?"He also needed to be distracted from his life for a while and Lily needed it even more.
