Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

In A Deserted Forest Empty In A Deserted Forest

Post by Katrina-Carlotta Du Hunt Mon Nov 04, 2013 12:52 am

Her mother was dead.

She hadn't even seen her in ten years. Ten years of irritation, of spite. Ten years of nothing but bad feelings towards the woman whom had birthed and nursed and loved her. Sure, her mother had never understood her, but she had never tried to reign her in or take away the things she loved. Why had she really ever disliked her mother anyway? The mother that had given her money and smiles and never knew of all the terrible things her only daughter had done.

But none of that mattered now. None of that stale childish anger that had turned into hate mattered. For it was foolish to hate the dead. Just like it was foolish to feel guilt for hurting someone whom was no longer alive to feel hurt. But Katrina-Carlotta supposed that even she could be a fool one day out of the year, and so she sunk to her knees, digging the nails of her right hand into the damp dirt. Tilting her head back towards the heavens, the dark witch squeezed her eyes shut and whispered, "es tut mir leid, mutter. I'm sorry."
