Help me escape this life!

After getting out of the Hospital Wing after days of being in there, Shane decided to head towards Hogsmeade much to his Professors or the nurse in the Hospital Wing dismay. But Shane wasn't going to listen them, he wanted to have some fun after five days of being knocked out cold and healing.  Heading towards the Gryffindor Tower to get some warmer clothes on, Shane looked at him and sighed.  He looked horrible, his eyes looked tired and puffy although he knew he gotten some sleep and his hair was matted and messy.  Taking a quick shower, Shane quickly dried himself off with a drying spell and looked at himself and nodded.  "Maybe it was because I just wasn't clean."Shane thought to himself shrugging.  Quickly getting dressed Shane flicked his wand at his hair making it straight like he always wears it.


Walking down the sloping lawn of Hogwarts he headed towards the carriage and quickly gotten on it without much thought. For some reason, his mind was else where for some reason, it was probably cause Olivia wasn't talking to him.  Although Shane told her a million times that it wasn't her fault that her werewolf changed him she still didn't believe him. Shane wondered how his friends would think of him if they found out he was a werewolf now, they agreed no matter what happens to them they'll always be best friends. Although Shane wasn't so sure, he was afraid of losing everything he held so dear like his best friends who been his best friends since muggle pre-k. Although he was sure he wasn't going to lose anyone, he was going to find a way for Olivia to talk to him again, although he knew she felt horrible for changing him.

Sighing to himself he walked down the crowed street of Hogsmeade as the cool fall wind blew through his hair. Wrapping his coat more around his body he headed towards the three broomsticks for a warm butterbeer to warm himself up from walking in the cool wind. Shane wasn't as cold as he normally was though, he guessed it was because werewolves were warm blooded just like vampires were cold blooded.

As he reached the pub she pushed opened the door and headed towards a table and gave the waitress a soft warm smile. "May I have a butterbeer please?"Shane asked her softly as she blushed and nodded. Shaking his head as she took his order Shane gotten out his money and set in on the table.  As the waitress came back and set his drink down Shane gave her the money. "Thankyou, keep the rest as a tip!"said Shane as he took a drink of his butterbeer before his hazel eyes looked around for his friends. Sighing as he didn't see any of them he set his butterbeer down before he stood up taking off his jacket. Hearing a crash on the floor Shane whipped around to see he knocked someone over by accident.  "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, are you ok, I didn't get any on you did I?"Shane asked softly his hazel eyes wondering down the girl checking to see if there was any butterbeer on her.

Evangeline had just finished the essay she had in History of Magic,and decided that since she had nothing to do,and everyone was too busy to hung out with her,she would take a walk,maybe go to Hogsmead even.She hadn't been there to relax for a while now,since her she was always working,to doing homework.Quidditch was actually taking a lot of her time as well,but she enjoyed it.
It was a nice way to pass her time,and earn a few galleons,therefore,not having to ask her parents to send her some,whenever she was in need of them.Which made everything easier and simpler.

Throwing on a simple outfit,she made her way out of the Ravenclaw Tower,and down the Grand Staircase,a small smile plastered on her lips.She was happy,with no obvious reason.But she liked that weird feeling.It was a feeling she rarely ever felt,so it was somewhat exciting.Somewhat different,and a lot more fun.At least until someone came along and destroyed that little happy mood she hardly ever felt.

As she walked outside,she could feel the cold breeze that was blowing.It was the middle of October,so it was a natural thing,but Evangeline was of the few lucky,that the cold couldn't affect.Her Animagus form had some good traits,she had to admit.But either way,she loved the cold.She loved to feel the snow against her skin,or the rain.Cold made her feel nice,though fire made her feel powerful.There were two opposite things,but Evangeline had learned to engage both of them.That made her a lot more powerful than someone else.

As she arrived at Hogsmead,she didn't have to ponder on where she should go.There was a small quite pub nearby that she always went to drink her tea and read a book,whenever she felt like it.So she headed towards it right away,the small smile never leaving her lips.It almost made her look like a common innocent Ravenclaw Student,while she was far from innocent,or common.

Pushing open the door,Eva opened her book and flipped to the latest page she had been reading,not bothering to look up.That's until she was knocked over by someone,making her land on the floor with a groan.She closed her eyes in reflect,hoping that nothing more would follow,but as she heard a male voice apologising,Evangeline slowly opened her eyes and looked up to him,her smile now gone.She wasn't angry,just not happy anymore."It's okay.I am fine."

Seeing a girl on the floor Shane frowned knowing that it was his fault she was on the floor. "Here let me help you up."said Shane extending his hand for her to grab. Although Shane could probably pick her up with in problem seeing how he was very well fit with strong arms. She was a very pretty girl, but she wasn't Olivia though. H didn't know why he was so attracted to her, he guessed she had that something that other girls didn't have.

"I... Um... I'm glad your ok, I thought I might of hurted you badly."said Shane softly. "Please allow me to buy you I drink I insist."said Shane softly. "Are you sure you ok?"Shane asked her his hazel eyes peering down at her. "Um... sorry didn't mean to stare at you, I'm just checking to see if you had any bruises or anything."said Shane honestly. "I'm not a creep I swear!"said Shane.

Shane was beyond that, he was actually a gentlemen who happened to be very hot and sexy as he heard some girls around school call him. But Shane's rep wasn't based on how hot and sexy it was, although that was some of but it was due to him being a gentlemen to the ladies. Shane was always nice to girls, he always opened doors for them and always excused himself when walking pass them before smiling at them. Shane was far from a player, he hated guys who were that way, that was one of the reasons why he hated Romeo.

Evangeline started having a headache.All this mumbling from the people around,mixed with her fall,gave her a very,very bad headache.When the boy offered to help her up,Evangeline was ready to wave him off and get up on her own,but all of his concern and mumbling of apologises made Evangeline laugh,and let him help her up.She didn't know the guy's name,but he was somewhat familiar.She was sure that she had stumbled upon him in school,but she just couldn't remember his name.At all.


Evangeline stared at the boy,not being able to form any words.He was blurting things that made Eva laugh and shake her head.It was so funny to see him being so worried.It's not like he had done it on purpose,and since she was okay,there was no point on worrying so much.After he was finally done talking,Evangeline tilted her head to the side and gave him one of her common smirks,before talking."First of all,relax.I am okay,so no need for you to go all crazy about it.People are already staring without you having to do anything,so let's keep it low here.Second,you don't have to buy me a drink.I am only here for a cup of tea."[/color]

Remembering that she had come with a book,Evangeline looked around,to find her book a few steps away.Biting her lip,she bent and grabbed it,before going back to the boy."Now,I do not think we have met before.I am Evangeline.Evangeline Faye.It is nice to meet you,stranger."
Winking at him playfully,Eva let out a small laugh,shrugging at his nervousness.Boys always seemed to be nervous around her.

Shane raised his eyebrows at her as she winked at him.  Shane didn't know what that was about, but he shrugged it off.  "I don't think we have, I seen you around school though."said Shane honestly. "I'm Shane, Shane Diamond."said Shane.  "Would you like to sit with me, or do you have your own place to sit?"Shane asked her.


"Excuse me ladies."Shane said at a group of girls who were crowding his seat.  As they giggled and moved out of the way, Shane looked at them and gave them a soft warm smile before saying 'thankyou ladies' before they let out a dreamy sigh that Shane didn't hear.  Taking a seat back in his seat Shane took a drink of his butterbeer.

Yuck... tasted hot, something Shane didn't like unless he ordered hot butterbeer which he didn't.  Taking his wand out he tapped it on the glass muttering a spell to make the drink cold again.  "So... your just here for tea huh, what else does a beautiful girl like you do for fun?"Shane asked her softly.  She was a very beautiful girl, Shane wasn't going to lie Shane wondered why he just said that.  Cursing to himself Shane shook his head. "No... Shane bad, you like Olivia and just her."Shane thought to himself.

"Yeah... but does she like you back, or are you just wasting your time on her?" a voice in the back of his head asked him.

"I don't know, I never asked her but I think she does!"Shane shot back.

"But you don't know for sure, what if she doesn't?" the voice in the back of his head asked.

"Oh shut up! Livi likes me, she just shy like I am!" Shane shot back obviously annoyed by the voice in his head.

"Sure whatever you say little wolf."the voice said before leaving him alone once again.
