The Ministry is releasing some details about the werewolf that attempted to assassinate Chief Warlock this morning and who remains at large, and they advise the public to take care not to approach him. He is considered to be extremely dangerous.
The werewolf is described as a male, in his 40's, who is tall and muscular. In human form, he is described as standing approximately 7 foot tall and is a bodybuilder. He has dark hair and dark eyes. Witnesses state that when he is transfigured by the curse, he is considerably larger and is vicious.
The werewolf's given name is not known, but he is using the alias James Blood. The Ministry official we spoke to believes that Blood has developed a pack that he travels with. It is believed that Blood believes he can gain some sort of level of control over his curse, and that he is a serial killer without remorse. It is believed he desires to be able to transfigure at will and without the influence of the moon.
The Ministry urges extreme caution and advises that no one approach Blood under any circumstances. It is unknown at this time how much control, if any, Blood has over his lycanthropy, and therefore, it is completely unknown where or when or against whom he will strike next.
The Department of Law Enforcement is investigating and working to apprehend Blood as swiftly as possible. They admit to hiring on retired werewolf slayer Edward Donohue as a consultant to the case. Those who are acquainted with the cases of rogue werewolves will recall Donohue's fame for his successes in apprehending dangerous werewolves. Donohue himself has not been available for comment.
