Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Tea Time Empty Tea Time

Post by Lucien Holt Mon Sep 23, 2013 12:43 am

Keiran had been through a trying few days, from finding out he was to marry one of his students, to classes with grumpy students who didn't want to be in classes after the Marriage Law information got out. That said, he decided that the best thing for his mental health to take the very cliché'd break for tea in the Staff Lounge.

After leaving his office, he made his way down to the lounge and let out a heavy breath. If he could have, his break would have actually entailed a drink of some kind but he doubted that would have gone over too well. He sank down into a couch after making himself a cup of tea, and took a drink from it before setting it on the table in front of the couch.

Keiran figured he didn't have need to stress so much over everything. Millie got on with him quite well and there weren't any major problems, except that she didn't seem to think it would work out in the end. He wouldn't be the one to say that it most definitely would, but he didn't see why they couldn't try to fix whatever problems would come up.

In the end, he decided to pull out a book and just take an hour or so to relax and not worry about things before he went back for his last class of the day.

Tea Time Empty Re: Tea Time

There hadn't been much going on since Aedan had gotten the job as Herbology professor in Hogwarts. Besides that, there hadn't been anything going on with him since Mary and Jackie passed. It still played in his mind all the time, the news that both of the girls he loved so dearly were gone now. It seemed like only yesterday they were excited about Mary almost coming into the world.

Everything had happened so quickly, and Aedan hadn't known how to deal with it. The grief he felt reflected in his work with plants. The grief seemed to transfer into the plants and they gave off a sense of sadness. After being in the Greenhouses for a while, prepping plants and learning about the different types in there, he decided that he should head back into the castle to relax for a bit.

After placing the gloves he'd been wearing to care for the plants down in the table in there and locking the Greenhouses up, he headed up to the castle and into the staff lounge. Without much to preoccupy his mind, the thoughts and memories of his broken family came back to him and he almost felt like crying. But that was something he wasn't going to do, especially not in a place like Hogwarts.

Upon entering the lounge, Aedan caught sight of one of his fellow workmates and he headed over to the older man. "Hey mate. Resting up before the next class?" he asked calmly, before taking a seat across from Keiran.
