Rebecca had just finished her first lesson of the day: double Herbology. It wasn't her favourite subject but it certainly beat astronomy that, thankfully, she had dropped upon entering the sixth year. Astronomy had been one of those subjects she simply never cared about, the only subject she never cared about. Being a Ravenclaw is was natural to live up to her stereotypical house traits: she was academically driven, enjoyed to learn from a broad range of subjects and worked her brain dry every most periods.
Her free periods were for homework and writing up notes of that days lesson. Not a lot of students from other houses wrote up neat notes, in fact Becca hadn't until last year when she started preparing for her OWL's, now being an NEWT student it seemed rather important to do so. In the evenings it gave her chance to do extra reading or revision for any upcoming tests - of course she had to squeeze that around the extensive Quidditch practice. Ravenclaw were due to play Slytherin in the New Year and she was desperate to beat them. Rebecca always was keen to win but matches against Slytherin were different, she felt obliged to beating her brothers house.
Opening the doors to the library Rebecca entered, the highly concentrated scent of parchment filtering through her senses. Heaven. The library was one of Becca's favourite places. It was crammed with knowledge from floor to ceiling, smelt of wisdom and was light and airy thanks to the large windows engraved into the castle Walls. It didn't take her time to reach the Herbology section where she spotted a table, took a seat and got out her book and essay title from the lesson: How To Aquire Snargaluff Pods . Turning to the relevant page in her core textbook Becca dipped her quill into the ink and began to write.
