'oh. I'm doing herbology, potions, history of magic and then charms.' Jackson replied smiling as he listed off his NEWT subjects. They were all his favourites. Naturally, herbology was a common Hufflepuff favourite - mainly due to the fact there were so many magical plants in their common room. Then for Jackson potions wasn't a struggle, sure he wasn't as talented as Vivianna Varnes a fellow sixth year, but it was refreshing and relaxing for him. It allowed him to think about things and chill out - plus Jackson found it rather interesting how different ingreidents had different properties and could create something magical when combind together. After that there was history of magic. Not a common subject among the students, mainly because Professor Binns was an ancient professor, who in fact was a ghost. Furthermore his strategy to teaching was rather dull involving long long long long long lectures where the students had to write down their own notes. Jackson didn't mind taking notes, he found it was a good way to learn and when he processed what Binns was saying the subject was fairly interesting.
Professor Cooper had used the word 'victim', that surely mean't that they would be casting charms upon him, although Jackson couldn't really imagine what topic they would be doing. One thing he did take note of was that it mean't the charms would be used on humans and most likely too dangerous or advanced to practice on each other. How Jackson would practice outside of lesson was a question he was beginning to ponder about. Perhaps the puppet would be left in the classroom at all times for them to come and practice on if there were no charms lessons in progress.
Before he could delve into his thoughts a blonde girl, younger than them, had entered. She was extreamly pretty and Jackson was one hundred percent sure that he'd seen her around the common room, which was a given considering she was wearing Hufflepuff robes. 'Hello. I'm Jackson.' He said with a smiling, leaning forward and resting an elbow on the desk as he gave a happy wave towards her.
