Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Asia really cold be in anyone. Though Slytherin would be the hardest.
She loves to learn and is cunning, and ambitious, and a rather good liar. But she is too happy. Too reckless. To brave. And too loyal to her friends. She also tends to stand up for what she believes in. She makes fusses and big ones when she's really angry.
But ravenclaw would probaly would be the next. They are a bit cold. And though they bothe like knowledge she is not as crazied about studies. She would much rather read fantasy than textbooks. She is also slightly out of control and likes to bounce around. So she would annoy the ravenclaws and slytherins.
The gryffindors and hufflepuffs would be a bit more accepting.
But others say differently. She is hard book to read per say. The plot is always changing. Never constant.
Look at the old posts. Or any post by Artemisia Shea/ Asia Shea over the internet. She is never constant. Always moving and changeing. Sometimes she would like to be a quantum physisit. Others a lawyer. And others a fbi special agent.
What about you?

Post by Francesca "Cesca" Malfoy Sat Dec 28, 2013 4:12 am

Gryffindor. Totally Gryffindor.

Cesca is a Hufflepuff, and was close enough to becoming a Slytherin. She grew up in a house of snakes, and had their traditions and dungeon politics engraved within her mind since she was old enough to start comprehending them. While Francesca wouldn't have made a good Ravenclaw, she wouldn't have made a bad one either. She likes being aware of things, and is quite intelligent. She likes learning well enough, except for defense, DADA can go to hell. Cesca is also rather quiet, introverted, and a tad socially awkward. In other words, she wouldn't be too out of place in the house of the wise. In fact, if she liked knowledge for the sake of knowledge, the Sorting Hat may have even considered the raven house for her. Alas, it did not.

Gryffindor, on the other hand, would be a terrible fit. Francesca dislikes boisterous and loud people. She also detests not being left alone when she wants to be. Cesca is a bit of a coward, and would probably have a panic attack if forced to live in a dorm of Gryffindors. So, she's definitely not lion material.

Slytherin.

Max is content with doing what needs to be done and going where others tell him to go. He has little to no personal agenda and has turned down promotions more than once. He lacks the Slytherin ambition, tradition, and ideals of a pureblood supremacy.

Opposite house: Slytherin
Reason: Well, she's your typical lion. Brave, bold, adventurous, reckless, goes with heart over head, rash. She would probably be Hufflepuff after Gryffindor owing to the fact he is incredibly loyal and willing to work hard, although possibly Ravenclaw seeing as she is naturally quiet clever considering she is an Auror.
However one thing she isn't is cunning, backstabbing to get what she wants and she would sacrifice herself to save others. Hallie is a stereotypical anti-Slytherin even if she did have an ambition to become an Auror but then everyone has some sort of goal?

Post by Maura Goldstein Tue Feb 18, 2014 3:19 am

Opposite house:Slytherin
Reason: Maura is your average Hufflepuff, she's sweet, caring and loyal to the key! If she wasn't a Hufflepuff she'll be a Ravenclaw for she loves learning and discovering new things and she's pretty shy! She'll be Gryffindor thirdly, she brave and daring at times, and be a Slytherin lastly. Maura isn't cunning or backstabbing, let alone arrogant or self centered. Majra always puts other needs before her own, stated multiple times in many threads!

Gryffindor.
Pansy is a Slytherin through and through and has never performed a noble act in her entire life. Sometimes she will word her reports and articles to make it appear she has wizarding britains best interest at heart but really she just wants what is best for a pure blood society and herself. Everything she does results in her gaining somehow.
She works hard and is reasonably smart but when it comes down to bravery Pansy has none.

Oddly enough, his opposite house is Ravenclaw.
While Scorp is far from your typical Hufflepuff, he is very loyal to the select few he thinks deserve it, and is extraordinarily hard-working if he thinks that the effort will be worth it. However, he can be quite lazy if he isn't passionate enough about something, and is terrible when it comes to teamwork.
Scorpius spent much of his Hogwarts years hating everyone who wore red and gold, and is still in denial that one of the reasons for this was jealousy. Scorpius is brash, sociable, often takes risks, and can be brave. If he had been born to another family, it is possible that he would have ended up here. Now, however, he is so far from a Gryffindor that he finds others openly expressing emotions both confusing and embarrassing.
While many consider Slytherin and Ravenclaw to be the most similar houses, Scorpius is a perfect example of this not always being true. Scorpius is smart, but completely lacks work ethic. He is lazy, often careless, and generally of the opinion that learning is simply the means to an end. He also completely lacks organization, and would've been completely at a complete loss with what to do with a common room full of Ravenclaws.

Opposite house: Slytherin.

Khaat would not do well at all in Slytherin. She doesn't do well with putting herself first. She much prefers tossing herself under the bus. She does value family loyalty, but she doesn't really give a hang about tradition. She's not sure she's manipulative enough for some of the folks she remembers as having been in Slytherin when she was in school.
