Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Amelia looked out the window looking out at Platform 9 ¾. Drew had ran off with one of his friends soon as they arrived. She wasn’t sure where her father was in the crowd. Edgar waved at her, she waved back weekly. She was going to be alone without him for the first time in her life. Claire and Jessica didn’t count for much these days. Edgar was the only one that didn’t care at all that she had ran off in the middle of the summer to go live with her boyfriend.

She watched Edgar leave, he had an interview to go to. She started to silently cry when he disappeared. She had never felt so alone in her entire life. Uncle Neville had showed up a few days ago on the beach in Hawaii. She was devastated when he told her mum had been killed. She hadn’t been sleeping at all. She ate properly because she knew better then to not to eat, she knew her mum would have rolled her in her grave if she did that. It hurt so much. Why did anyone want to her mum? Why couldn’t they’ve waited until the baby was born? Why always her family? She curled up into a tight ball on her seat and cried. It wasn’t fair. She had made up with her mum and hadn’t been able to even see her mum afterwards.

She reached into her messenger bag. It was as heavy as a brick since it now had not only her Great Aunt Amelia’s diaries but her mum’s diaries too in it now. She stopped crying as she read a part from her Aunt Amelia’s diary of when she was sixteen and another part from her mum’s diary from when she was sixteen. They had it just as bad as she had it now and they made it through. She could do this. She had to do it.

Over the summer she had been able to think of a few ways to get Potter’s Army back on the right track. She knew she could do it. There had to be something to make an army out of her friends. There had to be a way. She hoped it wasn’t a war, she really didn’t want them to learn that way. History did seem to have a way to repeat itself. Her Aunt Amelia’s parents were murdered when she was sixteen and now her mum was murdered when she was sixteen. She was going to break that tradition. But she was going to make sure whoever killed her mum paid for it.
