Daemon might befriend her if only because she's a Slytherin and her parents would be pleased. But maybe we just throw them together and see what happens?

Okay, did you want her thread to be in the school year as well? That or they could know each other because of the pureblood family connections, perhaps.

Daemon technically is leaning towards the Dark Followers, but I'm not sure if he'll stay there. So there's also that tie.

I'd say they know each other because of pureblood family connections. Maybe they're forced to interact and are sent off on their own to see if some sort of relationship forms but Raine and Daemon are only annoyed of each other?
