Catching up

Freyjakiu sat down at home, feet propped up on the couch, twirling her wand. Devin was sleeping, his loud snores filling the house, annoying Frey to no end. While she could take his snoring when she was in bed with him, when she was sitting down trying to relax that was a different story. Rolling her eyes as the snores continued to escalate more and more, Frey sat up, bent over, and picked up one of the Magazines on the coffee table. She might as well catch up on some reading while she's at it, eh?

Just as she was scanning the headline of the muggle tabloid, a particularly loud snore tore through the house, making Frey jump in anger and grab her bags. Taking a pen, she wrote out in capital letters a note for which her boyfriend would read after he finished his incessant snoring. The note said: 'I AM AT THE LEAKY CAULDRON. VISIT ME WHEN YOU'RE DONE SLEEPING.'

And with that final 'G,' Frey was immediately out the door. She snapped her fingers and apparated immediately to the Leaky Cauldron.

When she arrived, Freyjakiu quickly took an empty table and sat there with her muggle tabloid. It was a couple of seconds later when someone arrived to take her order. "Steak and kidney pie, please. And some tea with it too," she remarked. The man walked away and Frey sighed. Now she could read this crap in peace.

The tabloid had been full of mindless and unnessacary articles. She didn't care about the newest celebs, she didn't care about Justin whatsits's new single hitting the nation. No, she didn't care at all. Slamming the tabloid down, Frey looked up and saw a familiar looking girl sitting to her right. There weren't a whole lot of tables available, so she could she why the girl sat next to her. But the familiarity of her face was astounding, where had she seen her before? Probably Hogwarts or something, the girl looked a bit younger than herself.

Just as Freyjakiu was about to prod the girl on the shoulder, a steak and kidney pie, along with some tea, made it's way to Frey and settled down in front of her. The aroma was heavenly, she hadn't eaten here for some time now. But while she ate, she should make some decent conversation.

Tapping the girl next to her, Freyjakiu spoke in a questioning tone of voice. "You look familiar. Have I seen you before?"

Freyjakiu raised an eyebrow. In a magazine? What made her so famous then? If she was in a magazine there was no way Frey would remember that - she never remembered things she didn't want to. But Hogwarts was the best bet, Frey remembered faces she'd seen in real life. Maybe if she knew the girl's name she could match it with a face...maybe even a house.

"'If you don't dwell in the past, you can move into the future.' Good going." It was a quote from some kind of movie she watched, a very important quote to her. Frey didn't dwell on the past (there was nothing bad in her past that made her need to do so.) Taking her fork, Freyjakiu cut into the pie and took a bite of it. It tasted heavenly, no wonder it was her favorite food.

Putting the fork down as she chewed and swallowed, Frey turned once more to the girl. "Hey, what's your name?"

Another eyebrow raise was Freyjakiu's response when Cecelia oh so happily gave her name out. She didn't care much about Quidditch, both past and present, so she honestly didn't care if she was related to that Bulgarian Krum bloke or not. Honestly, the Slytherin felt a bit sorry for Cecilia, there were some people more interested in other people's lives rather than their own. She probably had to answer to people asking about her relation to Viktor all the time.

But Frey knew her brother. Not that much, but when Frey got sorted into Slytherin in her First Year, Elijah was either in second or third year. They were both in the same house, and although they didn't interact significantly, there may have been one or two conversations at school.

She remembered Cecilia, though. Sorted into Ravenclaw when Frey was in her Third Year. A cool girl, a bit weird during her fifth year. Freyjakiu nodded in recognition and waved her hand to dismiss the inquiry of anymore questions. "No thanks, I've asked enough. Although.." A short pause filled the conversation as Frey went back to her steak and kidney pie for some mid-convo consolation, "What'ee you doing here in the Leaky?"
