Hawaii get away!

Lance was finally off from School, so that meant that he would have a great summer ahead of him. What more could he do with this, play around and enjoy the sun? Swim all day and relax by the beach, or explore the many places that Hawaii holds. After all it was his first time here, he had choosen a random name of a state and now he was here to explore by himself. He had a house from his parents being so generous, so there was no problem staying around for sometime.

Yet, he knew that something was different today. Maybe it was because he was just by himself, sighing at his claim. He had sent Amelia a Letter a while ago, after the whole fight about Alex. He had just wanted to forget about it, he already forgave her but what else could he do. Would she be mad at him for taking so long to respond to her, he didn't want to lose her now.

He just shook away the bad idea's and got up from his bed. It was already the beginning of the first day here, the sun was shining through the window so brightly that it was blinding to him. Closing the shades, he started to get dress and headed downstairs from the second floor. Beelining it towards the kitchen to get some food for himself, after all it was important to never miss breakfast in the morning!

Amelia couldn’t believe she was doing this. If her parents found out, she’d be dead meat. Sneaking off half-way across the world. Well, that’s nothing new. She did it last summer. She went to a party without her parents’ permission. She nearly drowned and Death Eaters crashed the party. But for some reason Drew and her didn’t even had wands pointed at him. She didn’t really question it that much.

She hated Berlin. She’d rather be anywhere but Germany. The neighbours were horrible people. Their nasty little dog, urg the stupid thing bit at her ankles every time she went to get the mail. She fed it a sleeping potion early today so it wouldn’t start barking when she snuck out of the house. She didn’t care if it woke up or not. She hated the way her parents acted these days. Her mum was so emotional, why in Merlin’s name did she have to get pregnant again, and her dad was well her dad. She keep getting in trouble for snooping around in his stuff. He sure had a lot of books on the dark arts.

She overheard her mum talking to Uncle Neville on the phone the other night. Hearing her mum say how ridiculous it was having so many kids that didn’t listen and had no respect kind of hurt. Amelia had never purposely disrespected her mum out of spite. Sure they fought but all families do that. She didn’t know what was wrong with her mum these days. She stayed in her room most of the time. She had grown two inches and suddenly had really developed. Before she looked like a young girl now she looked like a young woman. It was weird and becoming a madhouse of emotions at home. Between her pregnant mother, twin sisters that fight over everything, her party animal brother and her being whatever she was.

She had gotten a letter from Lance saying he was in Hawaii. She now knew why it took so long. She didn’t send a letter back. She felt bad for the poor owl. It had nearly worked itself to death. She decided to keep the owl and find a way to get to Hawaii to return it. She had met a few unsavoury people in Berlin, people she really shouldn’t hang out with. Nothing but trouble. She had lost count of how many times they had offered her alcohol or muggle drugs. But she still had found a way to get to Hawaii. Portkey.

Once in Hawaii she used the owl to find Lance. She wondered if he was here alone now. He was seventeen. She fallowed the owl to a house. She walked up to the front door. Her heart was still bounding. She had just ‘ran-away’ from home without a single note. If she went home she’d be dead meat. She started to wonder if she really wanted to go back home. She knew she’d should write to Uncle Neville. He was her godfather, she’d wouldn’t tell him where she was only that she was okay. And to get her stuff from her parents’ house. She had just decided right now she wasn’t going back home. Either she’d stay with Lance or she’d go to Uncle’s Neville. If her mum didn’t want so many children around, she was about to get her wish. She knocked on the door.

Lance was making his breakfast, eggs and Bacon for this plesant day. Thinking over what he would do now, more like what he would do today. Could hit the beach, have some fun in town, or just chill out inside his own two floor building. He had turned off the stove and let the food cool down, when he heard a knock at his door.

Along with more knocking, he walked from the kitchen through the dining room. Then finally reached the front door, hoping that it wasn't a stranger here. He took a large breathe and finally opened the door. " How can I......" He stopped mid-sentence as he looked at Amelia like she was a angel.

He felt his heart pounding against his chest at high speeds, then was shocked for a long time. Before finally snapping out of his daze, quickly walking up to her and wrapping his arms around her. He had missed her warmth, he was just so happy to have her again.

" Amelia! I can't believe your here. I missed you so much, it feels like a dream to have you here. Umm, come in! "

He said in a exicted tone, as he held her hand in his own. Walking towards his living room, having a large sofa, a flat screen tv, tables, and other little things. Hoping that she would allow him to take her there.

" So, what brings you to my neck of the island "

He chuckled lightly at his own joke, smiling at her.

Lance’s hug seemed to bring the life back into Amelia. Her hair had darken from its light blond to a dark blond. Living in that house this summer had changed her. She wasn’t even sure who she was anymore. She had done much more then snoop around her father’s study. She had read the books. She hadn’t used any of it but even temping into it had changed her. She was starting to realize she was very much her parents. She knew her mum still loved her and she knew her dad loved her two but right now that house was a freaking mess.

Amelia fallowed Lance like a puppy. She didn’t want to ever let go of his hand. He hadn’t changed at all. The only thing in her life that hadn’t changed. She couldn’t help her sadden and lost thoughts. She felt alone, lost and bloody confused. She had to tell Lance everything.

“I couldn’t stay in that house anymore. We all are at each other’s necks. Hell, what teenager wants to live with their mother that is pregnant. I should be happen for her but I’m not. She’s just so moody, its torture being in the same room with her,” told Amelia tightening her grip on Lance. She had to tell him about the books too. He was a Ravenclaw, he had to have some idea what is wrong with her. She didn’t know what were in the books until a few weeks ago.

“Lance there is something else. The whole time since school let out I’ve been reading books in my father’s study. I had no idea what was really in them. It isn’t normal for hair to change like this, is it?” she asked nearly tears. What had she done? She knew she hadn’t done it on purpose but it still happened and she couldn’t take it back.

Lance looked at her with a blank expression on his face. As she had spoken to him about her problems, he walked her over to his sofa and sat down. Bringing her on his lap as he felt her hand clench his tightly. All he could do was endure her words, let her tell him everything and allow him to analyze the problem.

What he noticed that her hair did change color, it was different and he was pondering his mind about it. There wasn't much about it, but usually it must be a strong magical tome to keep changing her hair color without reading the spell.

He took a more serious role, being that he wanted her to relax. " Amelia, please just calm down. I can't say that I understand but you have to know that pregrant women.....are not the easiest things. My father had told me of his time with my mother. It was just a hell on earth for those nine months " he spoke calmly to her.

She felt awkward in Lance’s lap. They had done much more then this but that was more passion filled. She wouldn’t have taken any of it back though. She didn’t try to leave his lap just let her head fall back a rest on him so she could feel his heartbeat.

“I know she doesn’t mean any of this but it doesn’t mean it still doesn’t hurt. I know once she has the baby things will get back to normal. I think she’s like that because my dad is being a pain in the arse,” told Amelia. She didn’t care to sensor her words. It was true though. He wanted nothing to do with the baby at the moment. He helped create the baby, he should own up to it. She sighed, she knew her father was stubborn and had his moments, he was only human.

“My father is pureblood. It was in his study. Just because my parents are Hufflepuffs that doesn’t mean that they can’t tab into those,” Amelia told. “You do count for something,” she whispered. She’d kiss him if she wasn’t sitting in such an awkward position.

Lance felt her head on his chest, he didn't really move away from it. Enjoying her scent from being so close as she spoke of knowing that her mother didn't mean her words.

Her father was just being an arse, and he would understand it somewhat. He found himself chuckling at her words, she was cursing but he didn't mind it at all. The more bad mouthing she said, the more she could calm down.

He was still thinking of her hair, what could he say to her. Needing time to study was what he wanted to do, but he was pulled out of his planning by her kissing him. Unstead of pulling away from her, he kissed her back with longing from not seeing her in so long.

He pushed her body into the sofa, as he didn't break the kiss. His hands started to roam freely down her arms, brushing her soft skin without missing a beat. Finally breaking the kiss to look into her eyes with his light brown one's. " Good, because I missed you so much " he said whispering it to her, as he started to nape at her neck, playfully.
