A Good Day to Stroll

Chiara apparated from her room in The Three Broomsticks to Diagon Alley. This is her fifth days in London. She thought it would do her lots of good to retrace her footsteps. For seven years living in Italy, she used very little magic. She thought she forget how to use spells, until she proved to herself that she was wrong. She still as brilliant as she was before. 

It was just another sunny day, with cool breeze blowing her hair. She walked her way down the alley, looked around so much as she enjoys everything she saw there. Chiara was accepted as a healer in St. Munggo's Hospital, starting next week, so she has a lot of free times until then to stroll and find a house. Nothing change here in Diagon Alley, except for some new stores and more crowded that she remember.

She do hope that she still has acquaintance here, some old friends or something but she lost contact with all of them. So here she is, walking alone in a crowded street.

Today is just another ordinary day for Alaric. His holiday from duty as an auror, great weather, a lot of beautiful women on the street, this day couldn't be any better. As a matter of fact, his apartment needs supplies, magical one. So he strolled to one of public toilets, and with a swishing sound, he stood on a street in Diagon Alley.

He looked around. Smiled to some people who knew him, almost all women. He saw a woman with long gold brown hair. He kind of knew this woman. He continued to walk slowly and gave his smile around, following this woman. Suddenly he smiled, it's time to use the very basic way to get to people attention.

Alaric suddenly ran and bumped into this woman. He heard a feminine ouch and groan. "Ouch!!" He heard that and followed by, "Are you okay?" She asked.

Alaric looked at her curiously. That should be his line, right? He was the one who bumped her. He nodded quietly. This woman remind him of someone in his school years. Those golden brown hair, strong cheek bones, lovely smile. "Chiara? Chiara Giovinazzo?" He asked, unsure.

Chissy walked slowly among the crowd there toward Gringgots, she needs to exchange some of her money. Chissy saw the pet shop. She stopped right in front of the display window to adore some baby owls. Then she remembered that Shadow almost eat all of her cat food supplies. She decided to enter but someone suddenly bumped her.

"OUCH!!" Chissy groaned. She fell and somehow her angkle was strained. She pushed herself back on her feet, the pain is bearable so she walked or rather jumped to check on the one who bumped to her. "Are you okay?" she asked.

This man didn't say anything. He just sat there on the street and looked at her seriously, and that was creepy for sure. But then he asked, "Chiara? Chiara Giovinazzo?" 

Chissy looked at him curiously. How in the world he knew her name? She didn't remember him. She couldn't recall any names at all. "Yes. That's my name. And you are?" she asked with a smile. Chissy offered him her hands to help him up.

Alaric saw her rather jumping than walking towards him. She must have strained her ankle after he bumped to her. And yet she asked him first if he was okay. Merlin, he felt bad already. Alaric nodded quietly. "You dinnae remember me?" He asked in his Scottish accent. "You sure?" Well, Alaric was rather hoping that Chiara remember him, being popular among girls. But then again, his charm never work on her and after what, nine years, since the last time he saw her, he started to doubt that she remember.

Once again Chiara shook her head and smile, apologetically. He saw people was looking at them, since he just sat there on the street. He pushed himself up and took her arm firmly. "Here, let me help you." He said. Alaric helped her walk and sat her down on one of the street benches. "You okay?" He asked. Chiara laughed and answered him cheerfully. She took her wand and waved it near he ankle and when she's done, she was as good as new.

Alaric laughed. He remembered her as a kind hearted girl and cheerful. He was glad that after all these years, those things he likes on her wasn't changed. "I will give you one clue." He said after Chiara asked him again. "I used to bring my harem around, or so you told me." He grinned as he saw her eyes widen in recognition.

Chissy heard him asked her on his deep Scottish accent and she nodded. She did not recognized him at all. But he remembered her, all right. He recognized her among these people and it was something. She tried her best to dig deeper inside her memory, there's got to be something about this cute, Scottish friend of her. The thing is, this accent was quite common, well, some of her friends used to talk with it.

He suddenly stood up and held her arm firmly, led her to the nearest bench. He noticed her strained ankle. Chissy laughed after heard him, "No worries. I am soon to be a healer in St. Munggos. I think i can handle a strained ankle pretty well." she answered with confident. Then Chiara waved her wand and there goes her pain.

She heard him laughed after watching her performance. He said that he will give her another clue. And he got her on the word 'harem'. It's got to be him!! "Bee??" she asked with such enthusiasm. Merlin!! He do changed a lot in appearance. And the word harem just suit him well in the past, and still do now as she recon saw a couple ladies smiled toward him.

Alaric rolled his eyes after Chiara called his name that she gave him. "Do nae call me that." He said with a snort. Seriously, that name wasn't cool at all. Bee?? Merlin's beard. He even already forgot that nick name she gave him.

It was like, what, ten years ago when he met her for the first time. Pretty little Italian godess. She seriously furious with him for bumped into her on the hallway and dropped all her books. She made him kneel and instruct him to took all her books from the ground. And said thank you after said about how his harem was blocking the way. He laughed a little after remembering that event.

He spent a lot of time trying to win her heart, but this angel really had a strong heart for she never falls for him. "You arenae to use that name again. Aye?" He said and gave her a smile. "Now tell me. What are ye doing here after so long?"

Chiara chuckled softly. Okay. It was hillarious how his face changed after hearing that name. It was the nick name she gave him years ago. Bee. Yes it does sound funny now. He was one of the school celeb with lots of girl fans around him. He was charming, yes. Until one sunny morning in summer when she saw him talking with bees near the lake. That was the reason she called him bee.

Chiara smiled sweetly. "Aye, sir." She said. "I moved back to England, Al. Currently staying in Three Broomstick until i can find a house that is." She said happily.

She noticed when she was in Hogsmade that the air there was a bit tense with people were watching behind their back. "Please fill me in, Al. What is happening here? What did I miss??" She asked. Chiara could sense that something bad is happening.
