No one had a clue that the wizarding world was about to change. a new evil was arising, and no one knew who could stop it. Little did anyone know, the evil wouldn't be vanquished for over twenty more years. this unexpected evil came with one man, who sought to take control of the wizarding world. Lord voldemort would kill off anyone, even his followers, to get what he desired to have.
The number of death eaters is growing greatly and includes adults as well as Hogwarts students. Many join him out of fear; they simply don't want to be harmed. Others hope to see the destruction of all muggles, mudbloods, and blood - traitors. However, there is no way in hell everyone would just let this happen. Led by albus dumbledore, the order of the phoenix is gaining numbers as well, and they won't rest until Voldemort has been stopped.
According to the ministry of magic, it's all a hoax. The dark lord is kidnapping people just for attention, and it won't be hard to find the death eaters and put them in Azkaban. Oh yeah, no problem at all. -- Everyone is blinded by fear. there are few that understand the danger, and want to help stop it. Even the brave Aurors of the ministry are not worried.
The students of Hogwarts have changed, becoming darker. Many Slytherins have gone from making snide comments to mudbloods to actually causing them great harm. The dark lord has many followers in the school. Other students, like the marauders, are trying to learn more and more about defending themselves, because they want you-know-who gone. All of the students are growing more and more competitive. students are trying to seem more well behaved in front of teachers, because the want to win the house cup. quidditch is rougher than ever with all the injuries the hospital wing is over flowing. Students from rival house teams have resorted to hurting one another off the field, so they have better chances of winning a game.
