Dangerous Fusion

Jack was simply remaining cautious. This woman was giving them no reason to doubt her (and they needed to trust someone) but as the criminal in this crime had been someone who had posed as a Healer, it was difficult to not be wary.

Jack said nothing, keeping her other senses alert. She stopped to help pick Hannah up, supporting her on the other side of Neville. She assisted in transporting the woman, her keen eyes taking in everything about her, searching for potential trouble.

Neville started to lay Hannah down knowing Jack would fallow. He wasn’t moving from his spot though. They’d have to kill him to get him to move. Nothing else in this world was going to make him move. He sent out is patronus to his son. He wasn’t looking forward to telling Susan, Ernie and Alice. It wasn’t going to be fun.

“She’s been acting normal. Someone here gave her new potions earlier this week but she hadn’t started them until today. I found her unconscious with both of the new potions open,” he said. He didn’t want to leave Hannah’s side. He never had before even when healers told him to get out of the way when Frank was born. They couldn’t get him to leave then, he wasn’t going to leave now.

He didn’t tell the healer about the support group. That wasn’t any of their business. He wouldn’t let anyone know about the group. So many people would look poorly at her.

"Do you still have the vials? Some left-over potion? Anything? If I know what she took this will be a lot easier," the witch said to Neville, only sparing him a quick glance.. Meanwhile she was casting diagnostic charms with one hand, while gently propping up Hannah's pillows with the other. No, not Hannah, Longbottom. It wouldn't do to get attached.

Her charms weren't revealing anything, of course. The poison her patient had been given was damn-near untraceable. All the same, Rivah needed to keep up the façade of a healer. Calm, with an undertone of worry. She could do that.

"The diagnostics aren't coming up with anything," Rivah said fretfully, as she continued to cast, "it keeps telling me that she has the effects of being poisoned, but I'm not finding anything in her system. Such complex potions aren't common, whomever did this was either very smart, or they seriously have something against your wife."
