Sneaking A Sip

Hallie's eyes rounded, forming a saddened glaze across them. It was sad for her to see someone so lonely and desperate for a friend be turned down. 'I promise I will write.' She told Brant. Hallie really did want to write, even if it was just every fortnight to make him feel less lonely, although she really couldn't see him. Too many outings with her NEWT's coming up could ruin the chance she had to become an auror, and she didn't want that.

Hallie took the parchment with the address, folded it into quarters and tucked it inside her robes. 'It was nice to meet you. Thanks for the drinks.' Hallie thanked with a beaming smile. She turned around and headed to the door, a shiver slithering down her spine as she spotted the diseased witch in the corner. As Hallie reached the door she looked over her shoulder to give Brant one last smile of friendship, then found herself stepping put into a cool breeze. Now the difficult part: sneaking back into the castle.
