Friendemeies?

“You filthy little prick!” Alia yelled at a third year boy anger clear in her face and fire in her eyes. The boy had just jumped in a muddy water puddle splashing it up on her and her new springy dress. “LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID!” she glared. She spotted a hint of fear in his eyes as she towered over the younger student and smirked slightly. The only thing that could make this better if he had peed in his pants because of what she had said to him, but alas she was bored with this kid already, he was too easy to scare. If she really wanted to she could easily get him to fallow her around and do what she demanded of him, but that is not something she wanted at the moment. Alia wanted her dress clean once again. Taking out her wand she used a simple spell to make the brown water stain on her nice dress go away “Now get out of my sight before I decide on better plans for you.” She growled at the kid a grim look on her face.

When he'd come out to the lake that day, he wasn't expecting to see any drama around him. Of course, he'd been wrong.

Sitting in the tree closest to the lake with his back against the trunk, Kaiden had a perfect view of the events that had just occurred, but he was completely unseen. The third year had innocently jumped in a muddy puddle and gotten it all over Alia Gibbon. That was priceless, Kaiden stiffled a laugh as she went off on the kid.

Seeing the younger boy run away, Kaiden smirked and jumped out of the tree. Landing crouched down on his feet, Kaiden quickly straightened himself up and took a few steps toward the girl. "You know Alia, you didn't look half bad like that." he teased her, as his eyes settled on the part of her dress where the muddy stain had once been. His gaze quickly went up to her face and he smirked again.

"Want to find out how you would look with mud splashed all over you?" Alia growled glaring at none other that Kaiden Poliakoff, Of course he would happen to have seen what had happened between herself and the younger student. she grimmest how he seemed to look over her as if she were a object for him to own. All pure-blood men were the same, just thought girls were things they could own. "What do you want?" she spat at him crossing her arms over her chest after replacing her wand and looking up at Kaiden, wondering if he would always be a sexist pig, because it was awfully early for him to be thinking like he was.

Kaiden flipped his bangs out of his face and laughed softly. "Calm down." he said coolly, the smirk on his face disappearing for a fraction of a second, showing that he was not someone she wanted to mess with at all. Kaiden was usually all fun and games, not really wanting to take anything seriously. But that didn't mean that he wasn't an arse when he wanted to be.

Of course, when he wanted to be was pretty much all the time.

He sighed. "What? I can't just enjoy being outside for a little while?" he asked her, his usual confident smirk coming back. "Excuse me. I didn't know you owned this place." he said, his eyes seeming to gain a devious glint.

"Your such a...." Alia's words came to an end as she tried to think of a word that was more suitable for a young lady to use to describe Kaiden. "You are such a jerk," She settled on a word though she didn't like it that much. "And you couldn't even come to a ladies rescue? Instead you must laugh at her." She rolled her eyes at the boy and turned away from him. She had known Kaiden for many years as their parents tended to talk sometimes, not often but every once in a while, and Alia had always been irritated by the way he acted. She never could use the right words.

"Lady wouldn't be the best work to describe you." Kaiden muttered darkly under his breath. "Coming to the rescue of a lady is a gentleman's job right? No one ever said I had to be one." he countered.

"Besides, it's not like you'd have accepted my help. You don't like me." he added. Kaiden had noticed since he was a little boy that Alia never really liked him. Their parents interacted every once in a while, which meant he and Alia had to as well. He knew the way he acted always annoyed her, and that she didn't really like being around him.

While now he just enjoyed teasing and messing with the girl, it hadn't always been like that. Kaiden had trouble expressing his feelings toward others, mostly because he was always only around his sister. There were few times when he would actually interact with other children, the times he interacted with Alia were some of those few times. She was also one of the few people he actually liked being around.

In fact, there was a short amount of time when he actually had something like a crush on her. But once he realized that she didn't like him, Kaiden just thought it would be fun to tease her all the time.

Alia rolled her eyes at the boy. "Your just like you where when we were children." She stated shaking her head, "Will you ever grow up?" He always made fun of her for no reason. IF he acted more his age maybe she wouldn't be so annoyed by him. "So what have you been up to?" she asked tossing her hair over her shoulder nonchalantly and pretended like she wasn't looking him over. She had not seen this boy in a few years and he had grown in physical appearance which didn't seem so bad. "Causing trouble as always i presume?" she stated quietly.

Kaiden pondered her question of him growing up. Then, with a smirk on his face, he answered, "Nope. There's no fun in growing up. Just work." His expression seemed bored, with the smirk on his lips having faded and he moved his bangs out of his eyes. Maybe he should think about a haircut. Nah, the hair was like his best feature. As most people had been telling him for a while now.

The boy leaned against the trunk of the tree that he'd previously been sitting in and sighed. "You know it. It's a lot more fun to just do whatever I want to and not focus on any consequences until I actually have to. I mean it's not like we'll be here forever, sooner or later we have to leave Hogwarts and go out into the real world to fend for ourselves. " the last statement showed that Kaiden was mature enough to know that he did wrong things, but he just refused to act that way unless he really had to.

Alia rolled her eyes and sit next to Kaiden not bothering to ask if it was okay. She didn't care what he had to say about her sitting next to him and she wasn't to worried about what he thought of it. "So what have you been up to?" she asked tilting her head to the side, and leaning back on her arms. Lia looked away at any other people that may be around wanting to cause some trouble now that the little kid had ruined her day. She sighed and let her head fall back out of boredom. "Entertain me!" she demanded of the boy she sat in front of her. She needed something to do and she needed it now because she felt like if she didn't she felt as if she would die.
