What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

He had his own opinion about feminism. He supported women's right to be honest. If anything, then he was an eqaulist if it came to the human rights. His tolerance of another person was another question, however. Yes, it was true that he wanted to cage some pupil up and silence them, but he was a patient one and believing that with graduation everything would end, he did not take any hostages yet.
What he did not like about the all feminism thing was that some women saw men as villains. Or they all babbled about eqal right while they were either hitting them and throwing impolite words towards innocent guys.

“Of course they weren't. Women aren't meant for wars, though who cares about it now? If you go and take part in millitary actions, no one would even look at you like a miracle. There are plenty of girls like you who know how to fire a gun instead of cooking.“ He smirked again. Millitary. That was the right word, wasn't it? He guessed that he had the same responsiblity like the other muggles had. When were they told to join the millitary? 18? 21? He knew that his mother would refuse, but Darius... He was a curious one. It would not surprise him if one day he'd find himself standing in line, waiting for orders.

Darius leaned back when Weasley spoke again, glimpse of amusement sparkling in his eyes when she started defending herself and her position. Oh, so she had a character... Wait, scratch that, he knew about Ginny Weasley. Was she her daughter? Or maybe her father was one of the pranksters who survived? What was his name... George? Darius had seen their pictures, but never took time to examine them carefully. “Well, start with that, then. What were those idiotic reasons that started the wars?“

Okay, this is interesting. This guy really paying attention. As a matter of fact, not much people care to paid attention after a few arguments with her. They thought she is was too much talking. She doesn't care, though, about others opinion. This is her way of life, whether you like it or not. Well, at least her family accept her for whoever she is. They just need to stop her if she became way too over-talked.

About feminism, she didn't knew that much. But even now, although many people said that men and women are now equal, you still find discrimination over something. Let's not talked about that, though. Not her favorite subject either. As much as she hated war, the story behind it was rather intriguing. Like the reason why they started the war in the first place. That was what happen when power and brain over-ruling your heart. There were no humanity in war. Stories about what happened in the Wizarding world last time, was a nightmare. A lot of good witch and wizard died.

Domi rolled her eyes. "Woman." she said, answering his question. Obviously, behind every great man, always stand a brave woman. That's what happened in The Battle of Red Cliff. "There was this guy, Cao cao declared himself as the Prime Minister to Han Dynasty. His goal was to take over the entire China and a lady in the process. Short version, he declared war with Sun and Liu clans, some sort of dukes. Cao cao took over Liu's territory. Then Liu Bei lead his clansmen and asked The Sun to became his ally. Sun agreed and sent his general, Zhou Yu to help the strategist, Zhuge Liang to lead the battle. Later, they found out that Cao cao actually wanted Zhou Yu's wife. He was defeated, of course, but still that wasn't even a reasonable reason to start a war, right?" she said, ended up her explanation.

With all the respect he held towards the young girl (read: not really that much), he did not say anything when she started seaking again, but then he sighed loudly.
Why of course! Woman! Girls knew nothing about the strategies, the reason of domination and the wish of becoming the one and true successful leader of his country.
He did not know much about China and it's history to be honest, but this little fairy tale insured that he would not even want to know. This would be more fascinating if he'd be a girl. Then, maybe, he'd share her opinion that a woman was a true reason. Well, perhaps it was this time, but he still did not see Her to be a reason of this bloodshed.

“We were talking about the two greatest wars during the 20th century,“ He reminded her, pursing his lips after that. As a Ravenclaw, she should know that skipping and moving from one subject to another was not a good thing. Not acceptable even! He smiled as he figured that it was his turn to say something.

“First of all, before I start, I am not racist nor have I anything against our neighbours. So, here are few reasons why the first world war started. You can also read that from your book. First of all there was militarism. Countries started making new weapons and by the year of 1914, countries were eager to go to war, believing that it would change their views and make world a better place. Again, there is no place for a woman. No romantic tales about a man falling in love with a woman from another country and one of them ends up betraying their alliances. Nope.
Then there was nationalism. Each country wanted to prove their power and did all things necessary to make their country seen, respected and feared.
And, finally, though I doubt that this was the real reason, the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand Sarajevo. That's in Bosnia, by the way. I really think that usually that would just lead to some political affairs, but not war, but since Germany wanted to prove that they were as powerful as they told they were, they declared a war on Serbia who was supported by Russia. The latter had to surrender in 1917 because of their home policy and crisis. Their czar was executed along with his whole family in the cellar.“

While he spoke, he had been looking out of the window, eyes narrowed. But when he finished, Darius smiled and looked towards the girl. “You want me to introduce you to the second world war as well?“ He questioned.

This boy is obviously doesn't have the sense of romance. The book that she read was telling a story about one of Chinese greatest war, putting in a bit of romance. What was wrong with that? Although the romance was good and the strategies that they used was even more brilliant, she still find it hard to believe that people could start a war between nations in the sake of a woman. Domi obviously hates wars, but it is interesting to read about wars without so many details about how people get killed all the time.

To be honest, Domi once read a historical fiction about a war in Scotland. Sometimes in the 16th to 18th century. Scottish Highland wore plaid and ran into the battle with sword and bow. She loves to read about that rather than a war with guns, bombs, what else that those people invented?? Nuclear? Merlin!! Just the thought about how many more will die already disturbing enough. Domi rolled her eyes as this boy mentioned about two greatest war in the 20th century that they were supposed to talked about.

He started to talked, rather long, considering how he talked to her before; a few simple sentences. He talked about how the first world war started. She already read them in her book, well, skipped to read the details. It was rather fun, to heard someone simply read her the summary of her 600 pages book of history. She smiled while listened to him. And when he finished with his explanation, Domi clapped her hand. "Wow... That was brief and extremely understandable. Even aunt Hermione wouldn't be able to explain so much with only a few sentences." she said, extremely pleased. And by the look of this boy, he was eager to tell her more about his expertise on the subject of war. "Oh!! Please do so." she said, sipped her butterbeer.
