Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Feelings tend to get in the way." Oliver Said he understood what Vivianna said but he had learned that feelings did not matter in his case. He looked over at her. "Since you like to watch people so much maybe you could answer some things i have not been able to find out," he said his head cocked to the side. "Cecilia Krum, is the one i seek information on. Is there anything you could tell me about her?" he looked back out at the people yet watching Vivianna out of the corner of his eye.

The girl just tilted her head to the side at Oliver's request. He wanted to know about his sister? She guessed it made sense, if she had a half-sister that she'd never gotten to know properly, the Slytherin would want to know about her sibling too. "I don't know all that much," the girl said slowly, "I know some, but I tend to focus on those my age and in my house more."

The witch was willing to tell Oliver what she knew, but didn't know how much the Gryffindor was aware of. Vivianna might have quite often been a dishonest person, but she thought her classmate disserved to know that he was going to be a, half-uncle? The Slytherin swallowed softly before asking, "what do you already know?"

"I've only seen her twice in my life. Once at a fashion show I had been drug to by a girl I once fancied, she looked so elegant and graceful in the dress she had worn. Then once again at the ball. She had gained a lot of waight and looked rather upset so I stayed way from her." Oliver answered the girl. His half sister had never been much of Oliver focus in his pursuits but rather Viktor and Elijah, though those two were a bit harder to find.

"Right," Vivianna said, absorbing what Oliver had told her. The Gryffindor boy knew basically nothing, well then. "She's a seventh year, and a Ravenclaw. Depending on her birthday she could be seventeen or eighteen, but I don't know which," the Slytherin said, her speech slight faster than it usually was.

"She um, she also, well, this next part might come as a bit of a shock, so I guess this is when most people would tell you to sit down or something, but she's pregnant," the girl eventually spat out, despite initial problems. "So uh, congratulations, you're gonna be an uncle," it wasn't until afterwards that Vivianna realized she really could've phrased that better, but it was a bit late now.

"Interesting," Oliver said making a face that he had always made when he said the phrase 'not bad'. "Does anyone know who the father is?" he asked wondering if she even knew who the father was. To Oliver, Cecilia looked like the type of girl who got around. She was pretty but she was too skinny before she was impregnated, that Oliver would have never thought of her in any kind of way if he hadn't been related to her. "Or could it possibly be she's been with two many guys to know which one could be the father?" He laughed at the thought wanting to know what person in their right mind would sleep with a girl who had looked like Cec had been when he first saw her.

"Well, I'm not certain, but there have been a few whispers, and I do tend to pay attention to such things. I'm pretty sure the father is a Gryffindor named Nick something. Damn, I'm forgetting the last name," Vivianna told the boy, her tone becoming irritated as she realized she couldn't remember something. Oliver's reaction hadn't been what the witch had been expecting. The teenager had figured her fellow student would be shocked, or a bit angry. When he had appeared almost unsurprised Vivianna wondered if the Gryffindor had already had an inkling.

"But I think she's with a Slytherin boy now, I don't know much about that either, but not too much is ever private in Slytherin," the girl informed the Russian dryly. Well, not much involving any other students managed to stay a secret for long in the dungeons, was perhaps a better way of putting it.

"The girl gets around then," Oliver commented mostly to himself, "Nothing more than I had expected." he shrugged not knowing much of anything that went around Hogwarts before he had arrived for himself. "More than to be expected for her anyway." He folded his hands over his chest and looked over the grounds again. "Nothing really exciting seems to be happening today." He said with another sigh trying to think of what to do. "What do you think?" He asked looking over at Vivianna a slight smirk on his face. He noted that she was not completely grows looking, wondering who would think of her, like people obviously thought of his half sister.

The Slytherin just shrugged, Oliver could think what he wanted. It was his on mind, after all, and she was hardly going to try and defend some Ravenclaw she didn't even know.

"Today, naw, nothing exciting going on today, it's tonight when the fun happens," the teenager replied with a smirk of her own. "You're fairly new, so you probably haven't heard of the legendary Slytherin house parties yet. That's why it's so quiet today, all of us snakes are resting up," the witch admitted. The Slytherin parties were always great, and green-and-silver students only permitted. It was pretty much the only time where the house truly let loose.

Then what is little Mrs. Perfect doing up and out here in the owlry?" Oliver asked his smirk turning into a lopsided smile. He liked to party and was already thinking of ways he could figure out more about these parties she was talking about and possibly try and sneak in. "What are these parties like?" he asked cocking his head to the side. Polyjuice potion was possibly his best bet if the parties were held in the slytherin common rooms. "Any fun or is it just a bunch of people milling around and making out?" If he were to use Polyjuice potion who would he be?

"Little Miss Perfect," the girl mocked, "happens to like heights, and wanted to make sure her cat didn't eat the owl it was seen stalking yesterday." The teenager was actually a bit worried about that, she couldn't see the distinctive owl anywhere. "Thinking about trying to get in?" Vivianna asked with a knowing smirk. There was a special warding charm that the seventh years put up, people weren't even allowed to bring significant other's from other houses in. True, the ward was forgotten about sometimes, but Oliver didn't know that.

Vivianna spluttered at the Gryffindor's question. "Asking if Slytherin house parties are fun, is like asking if the Slytherin house color is green," the green-clad student informed Oliver dryly.
