If there was one thing he hated it was the cold. Who in their right minds would want to be outside in weather like this? He didn't understand what was so cool about going outside in the snow. It was just stupid to him. Why would you want to go outside and risk getting sick for no reason? It was just as fun to be inside in the warmth and there were more places you could go inside the castle.
Kaiden Poliakoff watched as students, both in groups and individuals, ran outside and giggled as they stood at the entrance of the castle. He rolled his eyes and watched them as he sat on the bottom steps of the Grand Staircase. He rested his head on his hand as he watched the other students lazily.
"I don't get it."
He muttered softly as a group of girls ran by him, giggling and racing toward the entrance. A thought ran through his mind and Kaiden stretched his leg out slightly, enough for one of the girls to trip over his leg and fall face first toward the floor. Kaiden smirked and held back a laugh as he brought his leg in again, quickly and watched as the other girls stopped to help the fallen one.
