Spreading the craze

She had August doing the dirty work. His job was to find out who may be interested in Spice, sell them the idea of doing it, and then get them to sign a simple contract that prevented them from uttering her name and Spice in the same sentence in front of an any sort of authority. Poor August had no protection himself, except his reputation for having four incredibly overprotective brothers who were all Beaters in their day.

August had handed her a note that read Hitame Higurashi, mp enin, adagio. The note was coded naturally, the time spelled backwards and the code name for the music classroom. Wally collected her bag from her dorm, pushing a small crate to the bottom of it, and scampered off to the music classroom. And there she waited.

Hitame was a little skeptical of this entire thing. But she'd heard about Spice from one of her friends, who said it made her feel so amazing, it made her forget the problems she had and she just felt great after using it. That was something she honestly thought she needed, even if it was bad or whatever, she really just needed some sort of escape from all the problems she had. Even if it was just for a little while.

The girl had been told to go to the Music Classroom at nine pm and that was what she did. Just a little bit before nine, the Gryffindor left the common room and headed toward the classroom. She made sure no one saw her and she ran into the room. Closing the door behind her she walked toward Wally, who was already there.

Hitame entered without a word, which no one would find Wally complaining about. She preferred silence to the obnoxious chattering that seemed to fill Hogwarts more thoroughly than oxygen. The girl closed the door and approached, and still, Wally made no move to speak or even displace herself.

Wally and Hitame were in the same year and the girl had never seemed like one who would really enjoy such illegal entertainment - hell, Wally didn't even do the stuff she dealt. Still, Wally's position was to make a sale, not make judgments.

"How much are you willing to spend?" Wally asked.

She wasn't sure she wanted to go through with this anymore. But she knew it was already too late to turn back, at least in her mind it was. She needed this, she needed to forget the problems. She wanted too. With every step she took, she grew more and more weary of what she was going to do, but it didn't stop her. Her left hand shook, as it normally did when she was nervous and she sighed.

She took a small bag filled with galleons from her robe and held it out to Wally. "All of it." She said, there was a decent amount of money in the bag and she felt herself tighten her grip on the bag. She just wanted everything to go away. And it would happen one way or another, butse wanted it to go away quickly, and this would help that. Even if it was only for a little bit.

Wally sighed - it was so much easier when the customer knew how much they wanted, rather than asked for a quantity relative to their budget. Still, Wally took the bag from her and went about counting the money, leaving the girl to her own devices while she did her business. She did a quick tally, and then some calculations. She turned to the Higurashi girl.

"You have enough an fourth of an ounce of high quality Sugar and an ounce of Spice. I could throw in another fourth of an ounce, however, if you would be willing to do some... marketing for me."
