Robert had been taken by surprise. It had blown him into the wall behind him, where he'd hit his head and knocked himself out. He was just waking up when Eli was there. Wait...what was he asking? It took him a second, as Eli got him to his feet. It appeared his body was functioning quicker than his brain was processing at least for the moment. And that frustrated him to no end.
"Khaat?" he asked. He stood still, resisting Eli, thinking. Then he looked at Eli, wide eyed. "Oh, God. She was going to be in the death chamber this morning. She had an execution to oversee. Eli--I have to go see if she's alright...."
In the meantime, Brian was seeing to Millie. He was reassuring her steadily. He was setting pain relief spells in place and spells to take care of the traumatic shock. Then he began seeing to removing the biggest bits of glass and setting healing spells in place. She would be alright, but he almost hoped it took the spell for the shock a moment or two to take hold. He really didn't need her spazzing while he was working.
"You weren't meant to see anyone, Millie," Brian said. "This must have come from the ground floor of the atrium. You couldn't have seen anyone. I'll get them, Millie. I promise."
