Avis did not care what she was drinking as long as her thirst was satisfied. So when her glass was empty, she was about to break the vial, but the waiter came and Andrei gave her water.
She could feel the difference between the liquids. Water went down her throat so easily that it almost felt oily compared to the scotch. Her pain drifted away slowly and Avis felt that she was able to talk, but there were no words that came out of her mouth. She tried again to say something, but not even a sound came from her.
That was the instance when she started panicking again. She was not able to talk! Avis pressed her hands against her lips, shocked of the discovery and looked at Andrei, eyes only begging for help. She wanted to get out of there right now!
She nodded, this time agreeing with him 100%. She did not want to go to Hogwarts, though. If they'd see her like this... that would ruin her year. They'd start suspecting, and professors who knew about her passion of boiling potions would forbid her to enter the classrooms and use the equipment they had. Avis started shaking all over her body, fearing that the thing she loved the most might be taken away from her and all because of that stupid mistake! She did not blame Andrei, however. Though his act was more than sinful and devilish, it was Avis who took the bite of the forbidden fruit.
Avis shook her head; she was not feeling alright. As a matter of fact, she feared that things got even much worse.
She shrugged. Avis wanted to cry so hard right now, but the last bits of her own low ego did not allow her to burst into tears infront of Andrei. So, forcing herself to be strong, though it took some effort, she leaned on the table and tried to stand up. She succeeded, but her success did not last long as only five seconds later she collapsed and fell on her knees. Groaning quietly, she tried to get up.
