Potion Class #1

Sophia smirked as she heard Henri Finch call her a creep before she flicked through the pages of her book. As the door opened up she seen two Slytherins come in, Andrei Dolohov and Alex Star, both Slytherin. As the boy went off some lame excuse for being later.Sophia looked at the Slytherin boy who came in and knew that he was lying through his teeth but she simply let it go. "It's fine Mr. Dolohov and Mr. Star, just try not to be late for my class I really don't like deducing points unless I have to."said Sophia.

"Oh by the way Mr. Star, can you stay after please? I need to talk you."said Sophia as her eyes looked at him. Thye really didn't like each other after there last meeting, but Sophia was willing to put up with him for Hitame's sake. Although she didn't like Hitame falling for him, to her all he was is a backstabber. Her eyes looking at him for a minute she went back to looking at her future lesson plans.

Changing red eyes.

Deepening voice.

Keith didn't do vampires.

It wasn't that he had anything against vampires specifically - he just really preferred to keep his blood inside his body, thank you very much, and believed that the best way to do that was to keep himself far and away from what were essentially very neat and polite monsters.

He grabbed his potions book and shoving it roughly back into his bag before standing up. "See you Wally," he said, giving the girl a nod goodbye. "I've got a...thing. Catch up with you at dinner?"

Ingredients now gathered, Wally was slowly but systematically preparing for the lesson. She didn't think it would be much of a challenge, but she was looking forward to completing it so she could put her head down and catch up on her sleep. She was whisked into work by the motivation of sleep.

Keith suddenly spoke and Wally glanced up at him. He looked irritable and she couldn't place why. Her eyebrows bumped into each other and she nodded jerkily back. "Alright. See you at dinner."

She wouldn't ask. Wally didn't ask. She listened if someone bothered to speak. She only hoped Keith managed to sneak out without the professor knowing - so when she turned in a flask with his name on it, there would be no suspicion.

That's what friends did for each other, right? Cheat? She and Keith were good enough friends, right?

Audra quickly gathered her ingredients, put the ones that the girl needed on her desk and returned to her own. She did smile at the girl on her way back. In fact, she smiled at everyone. It was potions. Audra was happy when it was potions. It was a general rule. And having the nice person from care of magical creatures helped. Not that this particular girl needed many reasons to be happy. Not that you didn't know that, if you have ever heard anything about her.

She had reached her seat by the time the "our teacher is a vampire and uses it to scare students" incident happened. Audra frowned. She didn't do power play, she didn't do scary, she didn't do teachers that used fear and "I'm better than you" in stead of actual respect, accidentally, she didn't do vampires either, but that's besides the point. She could deal with vampires, just that she wasn't too happy about them. In fact, vampires weren't that much of a thing for her. What she couldn't deal with were young kids, not much older than herself, getting to be teachers and suddenly abusing this status in order to cover up their own complexes and insecurities. Audra looked around and noticed happily that most of her classmates reacted pretty much the same way. Maybe, if she kept doing this, they could complain.. to someone... or sign a petition and it in... somewhere.
For a moment she considered doing the same thing that Keith had done. And then again - standing up and demonstratively leaving wouldn't do much. It would upset the teacher, she would lose points, she would lose one of her favorite classes. One of the few that she actually enjoyed. Tempting, but no.
So, she did the only thing she actually could do. Audra stared at the teacher, for a moment, frowning, her eyes hard and disapproving.
After that, she simply carried on with making her potion. Nothing much else she could do. But she definitely wasn't a happy puppy anymore.

Alex looked towards Sophia for a moment, when she told him to stay after class. He knew that she wanted something from him, or simply telling him off that he shouldn't be with hitame. He didn't mind it at all, but there history was very bad. He would need to man up and not try anything stupid.

" Fine. "

It was all he said to Sophia. Hoping that no one would pay attention to him, he didn't like people knowing about his ties to people right now. He went back to his work, putting in the right amount of Indigents into a pot. And turned on the fire, being by himself meant that he didn't need to share his work and not be held down. He would come up with the potion first and be done with the assignment. Making another win for Slytherin house.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" Alex yelled in the halls of Hogwarts, he was so late to Potions Class. Apparently he couldn't skip classes, like in normal school, where you could skip whenever you felt like it, and all you'd ever get was a call to your mom. But he decided not to skip. Before potions class, God knows what went through Alex's mind when he decided he had enough time to work out, and then go to hang out some girls in Hogsmeade, but damn it, he was really late. And probably get detention, again. He got past Hall Monitors using Parkour, and finally taking a sigh of relief when he reached the Potions class in the Dungeons. He slowly opened the door. The room looked rather sinister, like always.

"Sorry I'm late." Alex said. Looking at the new teacher. Alex could literally swear he knew her from somewhere. Right of the bat, Alex decided to go Sherlock Holmes, and start deducing. Obviously a Vampire, as a normal person would never have Red eyes. Alex changed his color to a gold yellow. And Alex was sure, he knew her outside of the school. "I was um....." Alex tried to come up with an excuse. "With... Some...." Alex didn't dare admit he was with girls. "Nevermind." He said, and sat down. Right off the bat he only recognized Alice, Andrei, and Audra. He naturally sat close to Andrei.

Sophia looked at Jones and shook her head. "With some girls Mr. Jones? it's quite alright, just please don't be late to my class again."said Sophia. Sophia knew that some of the students didn't like her, but she didn't do to scare them it was simply because she becomes angry very easily. It was her vampire/ evil side of her that she couldn't control how hard she tried. People didn't understand vampires at all, they think they know but they really don't know anything about them. All Sophia knew was that she wasn't afraid of some kids, but she had to keep her temper down.

Getting up from her desk she started to walk around the classroom examining ption after potions. "If anyone need any help with ingredients let me know, I will get them for you."said Sophia loud enough for them to hear her. She didn't want to talk softly but she didn't want to use a booming voice again so she mellowed it out some.
