"Thanks, a chaser on the team taught me how to do that. It's quite a useful trick" said Alice with a grin, quite proud of how far she came. Who knew that she could ever be actually good at Quidditch. Her childhood experience certainly didn't suggested that. Guess all of her hard work and training had finally paid off. Although of course she still had a long way to go and a lot of things to improve. "My family aren't very keen on me playing. I've almost killed myself flying when I was a child. Several times. So it's hard for them to trust me that I won't do the same right now" she said with a laugh. Perhaps when her family sees her finally play, they would change their minds.
"Oh?" she asked curiously. Being so used to having girls on the team, it would be strange to see just boys on the field. Sure some of them were quite rough, but Alice compensated her tiny frame with speed. Some of the girls were equally rough though, so it wasn't just a guy thing here. "Then I guess it's quite strange for you playing with me. Guys are quite rough here as well, but some girls play even harder. So it evens out well. But I don't want you to go easy on me. Trust me, I had my share of bruises from Quidditch and I survived. So don't worry about me I'm tough enough" Alice said with a smile.
