Congratulations! If you can see this, you're the proud new owner of a shiny prefect badge.
Your main job as a prefect is keeping Hogwarts interesting by role playing with your fellow students.
There are a few main ways you can do this.
1. Make the newbies feel welcome. Post with them, and try not to get annoyed if their RPing isn't perfect.
2. Post open threads around the school. Make your character do normal school kid stuff as well as magical things.
3. Don't be afraid to cause disruption. Pass through threads. Threaten other students with detentions or house point deductions (house point deductions must be verified with a teacher).
4. Talk to each other! Your characters may be enemies in character, but this forum is a place where you can make plans together. Try planning some events for the other students. Another good trick is to give or take points for silly reasons. 5 points to Slytherin for not being evil! 5 points from Hufflepuff for being blinding like the sun!
5. Advanced Technique Try to use your own influence around the site to get other people to play with each other. Are Jane and Oliver both looking for true love? Try setting them up in detention together. Are Martin and Cameron both shy first years? Push them both into Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom and lock the door.
