Heard it...

The Hufflepuff common room was beginning to become a bit too crowded for his liking, the cold was obviously enough to stop a lot of them from going outside, including himself. Not that he would actually be bothered by the cold, since he was always cold no matter what. But, honestly, he didn't want to be outside at all. Normally, he would love to be out there away from everyone else, but today, since it was the weekend and it was just too barren outside in the grounds, Ryo decided to pay a visit to the Music Classroom, his pretty much only favorite place in the Castle.

The Vampire had been spending quite a bit of time there lately. It was his last year after all, why not enjoy it while he can? His homework was done for once and he ran up to the boy's dormitories to quickly get his drumsticks and music notebook.

After doing that,he made his way to the Music Classroom and once he was inside, he sat down at the drums. He opened his notebook on the drums and stared down at the lyrics and beats he'd written down on random days he'd gotten some kind of inspiration. He scribbled down and crossed out some words and sang softly to make sure everything made sense as he wrote it down. "Heard it on the radio..." he muttered softly, writing down the lyric and then he moved the notebook to the side.

Gripping his drumsticks, Ryo sat up straight on the seat and stepped on the foot pedal twice, trying to get a start on the beat he was incorporating with the lyrics he'd just written down. The beat of the song just began to flow out of him and he quickly allowed his mouth to let the words out to accompany the beat that began to fill the room.

The Slytherin Commom Room was getting to noisy and rowdy for her taste, don't get Shadow wrong she loved Slytherin but the Common Room was just to noisy. She was about to head to the Astronomy Tower before she heard that a couple was up there snogging each other to death. The library was just crazy with people doing homework and studying for exams. Deciding to go to the music room Shadow walked upstairs to the quiet music room on the fifth floor. Shadow was really god at playing the piano something she gotten from her mother.

Upon entering the fifth floor she heard a familiar voice and smiled to herself before entering the music room. "Sounds good Ryo."said Shadow giving him a soft warm smile at him. "I just leave, I don't want to bug you, but that's a good song you were singing."said Shadow softly. "I'm sorry to intrude."said Shadow softly before she she tuened and walked away. She didn't want to bug him if she was busy singing great music that he loved doing,it was his escape and she knew it.

That was one thing she liked about him, he loved writing his songs which were always awesome in her opinion. Shadow maybe a Slytherin but she wasn't a bad one, to be honest she was more a Ravenclaw to be honest. She almost got sorted there, but she's hundred percent Slytherin and nothing would ever change that.

Not long after he had begun to sing the song he had been writing, he heard the door open. Any normal human wouldn't have heard anything, but thanks to his Vampire hearing, Ryo was able to hear the person who came in. Looking at the door as it was pushed open, the Vampire did not stop drumming until he saw who it was that was coming in.

When he realized it was Shadow Macnair, a Slytherin girl who wasn't exactly on his good side, his drum sticks stopped tapping on the drums and there was an awkward silence between them, in which Ryo seemingly glared at her.

Shadow had a reputation for picking on others, like the Mulciber girl who had recently died via the Green Itch. He liked to assume it was karma that did that to her, but it was sad that she had died. He felt bad for the parents, and now he felt even worse knowing that the brother had also died. Losing two children in the same month must've been hard on them.

His thoughts were interrupted by the Slytherin girl saying she had not wanted to disturb him and that she would be leaving. He knew that she had come up to the classroom to enjoy some type of music, maybe play something herself and he wasn't going to feel guilty because she left since he was already there.

"You don't have to leave if you don't want too." he said somewhat quickly, lowering his head to the book to his left. "You came for music. Stay and listen. Or produce some of your own." he told her. He really didn't care if she decided to stay to listen to what he played. That was her decision.

Shadow nodded. "Ok thankyou Ryo, I promise I won't bug you much."said Shadow softly as she took a seat at the piano. As she did she opened her music notebook and started playing a muggle song she liked really well. Getting lost in the music, Shadow closed her eyes playing the song. It was her favorite song out of the muggle group, and to be honest she was really good at playing it. Shadow was a whole different person when she was playing the piano, she was sweetit was just her and innocent.

Shadow knew she got a reputation of picking on people but that wasn't true at all, people just misunderstood her. Of course she can be a cold hearted b**ch but that was when she needed to be. Shadow was a very sweet girl, it was just her looks that can make her seem mean when she really wasn't. Shadow used to hang around mean people yes, but she never did anything and besides she didn't hang out with them anymore. Just because she's a Slytherin didn't mean she was mean.
