Harry started his speech but it was hard to follow him. Alice had spent most of her time simply staring at the younger version of her father that was sitting near him. In the last twenty minutes, he had managed to trip twice, accidentaly push down a pile of papers to the ground and almost break a glass. For the first time in her life, she had actually believed her father when he said he was clumsy as a teenager. She couldn't help but lightly giggle at this scene. With a push of a hand from the person sitting to her right, she managed to bring her concentration back to Harry.
Listening to him speak was a strange experience. She got inspired, goosebumps even. To think that such an important historical student rebellion started in a small shack at the Hog's head was almost unbelievable. She gulped realizing that he wasn't that much older than here. Many of the students here were her age. They might have been reckless but it was towards a goal, an important cause. And not just for the sake of being foolish. Harry spoke with such maturity and everyone around her seemed somehow bigger than her. She bit her lip and looked at Susan, not really knowing what to say. She was ashamed.
