Spreading Holiday Cheer

Silvyr stood on the corner of the bustling street looking up at his target. Only a few short hours ago he had sent the letters to a few friends with his instruction to meet on the street corner. He checked his watch once more but felt silly for doing so considering his target was a huge clock.

The night was perfect. A slight winter chill could be felt in the air but there was no wind or clouds in the sky. Silvyr looked through the crowd once more wondering if any of his friends were close by or were even going to show. It would take at least three people to pull of what he intended.

James strode cheerfully towards the spot Silvyr had indicated, across from the Big Ben clock tower. There was sure to be some backlash from the Ministry for this stunt, but James had never exactly been a stickler for the rules. He supposed they were to remain inconspicuous, and nothing blended in more than the bright red santa hat James had perched jauntily upon his head.

"Hey there," James said to Silvyr once he spotted him, "Nice night for decorating. Leah tagging along tonight?"

Nick had gotten a letter from silvyr. It stated that he wanted to decorate Big Ben. It was cold outside and they should have picked a different night, but regardless he apperated to the meeting spot. "So gentlemen shall we begin" Nick asked. Nick didn't know what they were doing but he like to make the muggles go crazy. Nick was positive that this would get them in trouble with the Ministry or the Order.

Silvyr nodded to James with a smile as he walked up with a bright red Santa Claus hat on his head. "I like the hat. Yeah but she'll be staying down here to make sure no one tries to interfere with our little plan." He said with a smirk before noticing another man had appeared next to the two of them.

"I know what we're about to do isn't strictly illegal but lets not try to break every wizarding rule tonight guys. Beginning with apparating in public for christ sake." He said under his breath with a chuckle.

He looked at them both and spoke calmly as if it were any other mission for the Order. "Okay so the plan is to seal wreaths on each of the four clocks that make up Big Ben. I have four wreaths here in this bag so when we get up there I'm going to use a charm to make them grow. While I'm doing this one of you will have to simultaneously hold it in place and the other uses a sealing charm so it can't be removed. We'll have to work fast if we want all four of these to be sealed before we get caught."

"When you're both ready we shall begin. I'm going to get up there by apparation and you both are welcome to do the same but not out in the public's eye, eh." Silvyr said looking at Nick as he finished speaking.

Silvyr turned and walked into the nearest alley before apparating. The air was calm and perfect up on the roof of London's most historic clock. He threw the bag down and removed the wreaths. He kept one and walked out on to the edge of the roof looking down at the massive clock. He held the wreath in front of him waiting for his friends to get into position.

James grinned and slunk off into another alleyway across the street. Turning on the spot, he apparated to the top of the tower and waved at Silvyr.

"I'll cast the sealing charm!" he called to Silvyr, "Nick should be proficient enough with Wingardium Leviosa!"

James withdrew his wand, flourishing it, ready to enact his part in this holiday cheer. That was when he remembered that his own wand was currently being repaired at Aaron's wand shop, and this one didn't perform very well for him.

"On second thought...I'd better do the levitating! Loaner wand!"

Nick had went to Apperate, but he remembered what Silvyr said about Appearating in plain sight. Nick ran into the store across the street, entered their restroom and Apperated by James.

Nick heard James say that he would have to cast the sealing spell. Nick knew how to perform the spell but he had never done it before.

Nick readied his wand and hoped he didn't screw anything up.

Silvyr nodded and focused his mind on how large he wanted the wreath to grow. "Alright here we go!" Silvyr shouted and without another word Silvyr spoke the charm in his mind. The green shrubbery in between his hands began to grow quickly though he kept his eyes shut. The wreath was almost instantly to large for his wing span to hold. He let go and hoped that James had caught the thing in time. The movement didn't break his concentration and he continued to picture how large he wanted the wreath.

When Silvyr opened his eyes he saw the Green wreath was now hanging there covering the clock. "Jame's wand must have held up." he thought to himself. He looked to his two friends, "One down. Three to go!" Silvyr shouted in haste.

Silvyr moved to the pile of wreaths and grabbed another before running to the next edge of the building and holding it out in front of him. Again he focused and spoke the charm in his mind.

James strained a bit as he held the wreath steady while it grew in size. He kept his breath steady, and his arm stock still as he held his wand up to maintain the levitation charm. The loaner wand made even the simplest spells much more difficult to perform. James was glad that he had changed his mind about doing the sealing charms.

As soon as Nick cast the sealing charm, James dropped his arm, letting out a deep sigh at being able to relax for a few moments. A few moments it was, too, as Silvyr was already moving on to the next wreath. Still on the roof, James ran to the next side of the clock and began to levitate the wreath as Silvyr cast his engorgement charm.

Jack got bored sometimes. And, well, they had a lot of cans of spray paint in her house left over from the time they had painted their van... and their house. So, Jack had taken to apparating to her favorite locations and enhancing them.

The plan was to paint the words "Go Digital" across the face of Big Ben's clocks.

She wasn't;'t the only one there though.

And every voice was familiar.

"Silvyr? James? Nick?!"

Silvyr's concentration was suddenly broken by a woman's voice saying his name. He opened his eyes to see the wreath that now hung out in front of him. It was only half as big as he needed. "Shit" he thought to himself.

Turning to look at who could possibly be up on the roof with them. "Jack!" Silvyr said astonished by the sudden appearance of a friend he had forgot to invite. "You're not working right now are you?" he said worried she would be there to take them in already.
