A stats-based system is when your character's abilities are represented by numerical values. The Masquerade is clearly not.

And I don't want to sound rude, but enough people steal my stuff (in fact, there's a post in the Death Manor where the content was literally copied and pasted from one of my posts by another member, without credit) that I'm pretty wary about "discussing" anything that might not end up on the actual site.

I also knew there was little to no interest in a recreational duelling system (there never has been) which is why this thread is a request for expressions of interest, rather than a straight discussion of the system I've already designed.

Guys, please stop spamming in these discussion threads. We need to be able to have threads like these to help make the site a better place, and that means we need to be able to not have multiple spam posts.

I know you all realize spamming is against site rules, and we sometimes are too lenient on it, but it really does need to stop now.

Well know that I have never stolen anyone's ideas. I'm not the oldest of members to the site so and I'm sure things have been discussed and created much like what i have going over there in that area. A point-based system would be great and I would like to work on that if possible. I opened up the free for all area just a bit ago, but I still have some work I would like to do.

I do think it would be cool to have the points you earned in dueling to be represented below the profile pics so everyone can see them.

What was copied and stolen from you in Death Manor? I'll have it removed and talk to the member.

It's the description of Malfoy Manor. You can leave it as it is, I think I already had a piece out of the person in question when he did it.
