Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Remember to Bring the Garlic - Page 2 Empty Re: Remember to Bring the Garlic

Derry was completely confused. He stared at Marguerite, still expecting she'd break out into laughter, declaring: "Haha! Got you!" But as time passed, it looked less and less like that was going to happen. The two girls were moving into the forest and Derry was starting to feel like he should have stayed in his dorm tonight.

He followed the two girls reluctantly. Anxiety did summersaults in his belly at the thought of someone getting killed. Walking a short distance behind Hitame, he began whispering prayers that they wouldn't find a living soul this evening. Maybe Derry was wrong about Marguerite. Maybe she wasn't as sweet as he had thought.

This was another of the rare moments when Derry really couldn't think of anything to say. He wasn't even really sure why he was following them. Why wasn't he running back to his dorm room, to be in the safety of his bed? Perhaps it was morbid curiosity or his growing attachment to Marguerite. Regardless, something prevented him from turning around and instead, he followed them deeper into the forest despite his best judgments.

Running a little to catch up with Hitame, he asked, "So Hit, what are you doing here exactly?"

Remember to Bring the Garlic - Page 2 Empty Re: Remember to Bring the Garlic

Marguerite continued to walk through the trees, her ears listening to the footfalls of the pair behind her. She smirked slightly when she heard Derry question Hitame. It was common for Donors to feel pangs of jealousy, even against those of the same gender as their vampire lord. She worried a bit that Derry may be taking this a bit hard, and she hoped he would not begin to refuse her company. Marguerite refused to feed on Hitame, due to the fact that she would be too tempted to drain her dry, so that she'd have no other choice than to turn her.

((I'll give Derry and Hit a chance to kind of get some sort of relationship/rivalry going before I have Marguerite find our werewolf, so feel free to post one right after the other. No need to wait for me to post. Wink ))

Hitame continued to walk after Marguerite, even though she had pretty much lost sight of the girl already. She was trying to not pay much attention to Derry, hoping that if she ignored him enough he wouldn't want to talk to her. Like others, who is she didn't say anything to start a conversation with them, they considered her antisocial and just didn't say anything to her.

She sighed softly as she heard him ask her a question though. So much for that idea. Hitame looked for Marguerite in the trees for a second, trying to think of an answer for him that would satisfy him enough so that he wouldn't try to dig deeper into what she was really doing there.

"Research." she finally said simply, looking at him with a serious expression.

Derry stopped in his tracks when Hitame said she was there for research. Somehow, something in the way she said it told him she was lying. "You..you sure?" he said, giving her a sidelong glance. "Research for what class?" Derry said, running to catch up to her. "Are the Professors at Hogwarts really going to agree with you voluntarily witnessing murder without intervening because of research?" he added, suspiciously. " 'Cause..well, if it really is for research, maybe I can do the project with you. You know, since I'm already here," he said, smiling at Hitame.

Derry decided he would call her Hit from now on, just because three syllables was way too much effort. "So..Hit, anyway, where's your notebook? You gotta take notes, so that you make sure the werewolf doesn't die in vain, you know?"

Derry had to jog beside Hit to catch up with her, she was walking so fast. He could hardly see Marguerite ahead of him in the darkness and hoped worriedly that they wouldn't lose sight of her. The last thing Derry would want is to be stuck in the Forbidden Forest with Hit. I mean, he didn't know her that well, but so far friendship between the two didn't seem promising.

Hitame sighed softly. He was doing exactly what she had been trying to avoid. "Not for any class." she said. "And I don't need totake notes. This is for my own gain, I'm doing my own research on Vampires." she told him. "Happy?" she asked, slightly annoyed.

She hated when she was asked questons by people. She tolerated it from the professors because the were professors, they had a rigt to ask questions. But from other students, or oher people in general, she hated it.

"I don't care if the Werewolf dies in vain or not." she told him, somwhat coldly. "I don't even like Werewolves that much." she added. Vampires had always been her thing more than Werewolves. She could tolerate them too, but she just always had something against them, even though she didn't understand why.

Hitame's answers seemed so hostile, Derry had to guffaw in surprise. Okay: she didn't like him. Derry was alright with that because frankly, he wasn't sure he liked her either. "Haha, RAWR! You're pretty hot-tempered, aren't you?" Derry said while holding his sides with laughter.

But when she said that she didn't care if the werewolf died in vain, Derry's heart almost stopped, shocked that anyone might feel that way. "That's...that's a horrible thing to say!" Derry said, horrified. He wasn't the type that tended to judge people, but something about Hit really bothered him. How could she not care if someone died?

And doing her own research? For her own gain? What the hell? That was really weird too. It didn't sound like he would get anymore answers out of Hit, but then again, Derry never did know when to shut up. "So, Hit. Anyway, what I was trying to know was... Did Marguerite drink from you too?" he asked, hoping she'd cooperate with that question.

He was more than just curious: he had to know. Quite frankly, he didn't want anyone else being Marguerite's donor. Derry was her donor and sort of boyfriend and to him, that meant that Hit had to keep her distance.

"Because if you did, you don't have to anymore, because I'm her new donor, okay?" Derry said, hoping he sounded firm and authoritative enough to make her back down.

Hitamé looked at Derry with a serious expression, her eyes narrowed even. She was seriously not starting to like him. He asked too many questions and was just getting on her nerves. She gripped the garlic in her pocket hard, trying to keep herself calm so she didn't lash out at him.

She was hoping that his questions would stop already, but of course she was wrong. He asked another question and she sighed in aggravation. "Obviously not." she answered coldly.

"In case you hadn't noticed, I have no marks on me from anywhere she could've bitten. Most Vampires bite people's necks or wrists." She slid up her sleeves slightly and showed them to him. The bracelets she had on far up so he could see she had nothing but low enough to hide the scars she had.

"There's nothing on my wrists. And there's nothing on my neck." she told him, motioning to her neck. There's was nothing on her neck, no puncture wounds, or anything that could show the fangs of a vampire could've been there.

"Are you happy now?" She asked irritated, sliding her sleeves back down quickly. "Stop acting so jealous. You're not impressing anyone." she hissed accidently, turning her head away from him.
