The Great Lake

Also taking in the skies, Ginevra noticed every shade there seemed to be. The red and orange mixed in there with the blue-ish grey blend was quite something. The fact that it was the morning, she really wondered how early it was, as it couldn't have been that much into the day with the sky looking as it did.

Darren gazed at the lake thoughfully, for some reason sitting by the lake always helped him think and calm down. He looked towards Gin and sighed, she seemed in some sort of trance again. He was about to bring up the conversation they had yesterday, but decided to drop it, she'd just start worrying again. "So... how are you?" he asked boredly.

Hearing Darren's voice speaking, Ginevra automatically came out of the trance and slowly turned her head towards him. Shrugging, she paused before answering. "I'm the same as always." she replied, knowing that if she said she was fine he'd get mad at her. He always seemed to get mad when she tried to make him not worry by saying things were better then they actually seemed. "How about you?" she asked, raising her eyebrows after covering her mouth and yawning.

Darren scowled, she never gave a straight answer. "Me? Im fine.." he said, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. "Just the small problem of Death eaters coming to Hogwarts to kill my best friend."

Zoe watch the clouds float by and soon found herself slipping deep into sleep. She hadn't been sleeping well. Soon sleep overtook her. She started dreaming and at first was a little confused of what it was she was dreaming.

Rolling her eyes, Ginevra never seemed to be able to do anything right. That was one of the many reasons she didn't get why she was his best friend, she seemed to lie so much that he'd get mad or she would forget to eat one morning and he'd be after her with a pitch fork. Of course not literally, but she didn't get it, as she didn't notice she pretty much did the same thing to him. "I thought they were coming to capture you." she retorted, not wanting him to think about her getting killed, though she hadn't slept for the reason of dreaming Darren was being killed too. Just not something she wanted to get herself into, not even in her imagination.

Darren swore at himself under his breath, he had accidentally brought that subject up again, and he really didn't want to argue for 3 hours with Gin again. He stopped himself from saying what he wanted to say and just said "Yeah, true"

Charlie suddenly spotted Gin, who was sitting high up on a tree. 'Hi Gin!' he said enthusiastically. 'Did you stay here all night?'

Zoe drifted off into dreamland. Soon she saw herself walking around Hogwarts grounds in the dark. But she wasn't having trouble. It was as if she could see in the dark. Zoe could see herself sitting under a tree and someone was walking toward her. She couldn't make out a face but a hand was reaching toward her. Just as she took the hand she woke up. She sat up with a start.

"Of course she did, shes a freak isnt she?" Darren said rolling his eyes. He then looked at Charlie thoughtfully. "Was Gin at breakfast?" He hadnt seen her there but if Charlie confirmed it Gin wouldnt find a reason to argue. He didnt know why he cared so much but it was probably either he wanted to find out if Gin was lying, or because he wanted her to eat after being tortured for 4 months. She had come yesterday after all.
