Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Darren leaned against a tree and gazed at the lake thoughtfully. He had kind of zoned out and it was a while before he responded. "So she wasnt home?" he guessed. He didnt really care if her mother was safe or not, he just wished he had been there with Gin at that time, then he could teach those scum a lesson.

Ginevra was looking down at herself, the reflection giving the image of her as the water was actually clear for once. "I dont know." she told him, shrugging her shoulders like she didn't care, though she really wasn't sure. She was trying not to lie, she wanted to stop it for once. At least at the moment, that was. Being glad that Darren was not there, she rolled up her pant legs and stuck them in the water, laying back on the grass and staring at the sky, leaving her legs to get wet in the water.

Darren sighed, these riddle answers of hers were getting really annoying. Shrugging, he glared at her with raised eyebrows, it was nearly november and quite a cool day, he was sure the lake would be really cold. Well whatever, she always was a psycho.. "Arent you cold?" he asked.

Having Darren in her view as she looked up into the sky, Ginevra heard the sighand rolled her eyes. "This time i'm not making you guess, I really don't know." she told him, murmuring something under her breath after she said it. Seeing his glare, Ginevra looked right back at him, her expression going confused. "What, am I going to die by putting my legs into the water?" Ginevra didn't care what month it was, if she wanted to put her legs into the water, she should. The fact that she felt no coldness at all didn't matter, she had gone swimming in the dead of night with the water colder then it was now with Freddy, hadn't bothered her then either. Ginevra was just weird like that. "No, not cold."

Darren also rolled his eyes. "You dont know if your mom was home or not?" he asked exasperated. "And yeah you might actually. with your luck you could get dragged in the lake by the giant squid.." He looked back at the lake fighting the urge to roll his eyes again. "Well, anyways, its a good thing i left the death eaters three months ago"

Shaking her head, she wasn't and couldn't tell what had happened, so it wasn't leaving her with anything to say when he asked the question she thought she had just told him. She really didn't know, but she'd have to find out soon. Propping herself up with her elbows, she made sure she didn't fall in while doing it, and looked down into the water. "The squid isn't as mean as people claim it to be, I went swimming with it." she told him, grinning at the memory of convincing Freddy to go with her. It had been interesting. Pursing her lips and nodding, she wasn't sure how well it would have gone through if Darren had been there too. "Why?" she asked, not sure why he was thinking it was, as many reasons could be formed.

Sorry if im being nosy" Darren said when she didn't reply to his question. He rolled her eyes at her saying the squid was friendly, he had been dragged under the lake in his first year by it. "Really, you did? When?" he asked curiously. He was surprised and annoyed at the same time, she was always looking for trouble. "Well, its quite an interesting story actually, but basicly, Sue betrayed me and Voldemort found out i was after his horcruxes so i had to run for it.." he said.

Ginevra shrugged, she knew she did the same thing to him all the time. Not wanting to be a hypocrite was the reason she kept her mouth shut. Seeing him roll his eyes once more, Ginevra grinned. He did it so often that if she were to count her hands and toes would be taken up within five of her comments. "Last year with Freddy sometime." she told him, kicking her legs in the water but never having them surface. She didn't get why she was mentioning him, he wasn't even at the school and it would just make her miss him more then she did. Going down to find the squid hadn't and didn't seem hazardess in her mind, it was just a squid, afterall! "Well what did you expect from Sue." Ginevra murmured, rolling her eyes. She had met the girl once and it hadn't gone through well, their personalities didn't clash well. "HA!" she said without thinking. "I'm not the only one who was or is 'on the run!" bringing her hand over her mouth, she looked away from him a little too fast, cussing as she did so.

Darren took her comment as a 'yeah you are' so he didnt make any more comments on her mother. He scowled when she mentioned Freddy, he never really liked him much. "So now that you mention him.. Where exactly is he exactly? Didnt dissapear again did he?" he said. He never knew why Gin liked Freddy so much, he seemed to him like a total git. "Yeah well i always knew she was a traitor.." he muttered. He suddenly jumped two feet in the air when she yelled unexpectedly. "Your on the run!?" he asked loudly.

Seeing the scowl, she rolled her eyes as she really didn't know why he didn't like Freddy. The fact that Freddy did try to be nice to him didn't seem to matter, Darren was always wicked back to him and she didn't think Freddy deserved that at all. It was all weird, she never got boys. Cussing to herself, she knew she should have expected that question and she had forgotten that Darren didn't really like Freddy for one reason of him leaving her for more then a year and coming back just to have Ginevra herself act like nothing had happened, though when Darren had left her without saying a word for a week, she had questioned him with no end. She hadn't done it on purpose, it was just the natural responces she got when with the person. "Him and Topher..." she muttered, sighing. She couldn't help but think someone like Charlie would be next, all of her house seemed to be disappearing one by one, though Freddy disappearing was nomal, not Topher though. He was always there! Not now, though. Nodding in agreement as he muttered to himself, she more then agreed with it but didn't get why he had trusted her with such information. It hadn't been a smart move, she could say that. She fact that she didn't get to was not because she didn't want to, it was because she found herself leaning forwards in surprise to what she admitted herself along with the fact that she had fallen into the cold water with Darren's voice raising and his fast movements startling her. Resurfacing from the water, she glanced at where she had been sitting and started to tred water. She wasn't about to go back onto the land until Darren had calmed down a little. "Keep your voice down!" she snapped, glancing towards the others who seemed to be watching on and off but she doubted they could hear anything, just see expressions. Knowing that she had made it more then obvious that she was indeed on the run, lying would not only be stupid but it also would make Darren literally kill her. "Yes, I am." she replied, biting her lip.
