The Great Lake

"I thought I said hi to you but I guess I didn't," he shrugged "how are you doing?"

Ginevra shook her head as she remembered he had, though it had been awhile ago if you considered the time. She had just zoned out in staring at the lake that had sparkled in front of her eyes. She seemed to get lost in thought often, she was just that kind of person. "No harm in saying it twice." she told him, grinning crookedly. The question that she hated was anything that involved how she was. She always avoiding it, but everytime she avoided it more questions came along at to why when they noticed she had been distracting them. "I'm fine." she lied easily, shrugging her shoulders once more. "And yourself?"

(danny chuckled at her comment.) "I've been okay," he said "just bored most of the time, but seeing Darren getting annoyed by Mari and Jem is fun."

Grinning as she glanced to the side of her where Darren was, she rolled her eyes at the same time. Annoying Darren wasn't exactly a challange, you had to remember that. She actually had fun doing it at times, though she was always just having fun, never mean't any of it, considering he was the best friend she had at Hogwarts; not that she'd admit it. "Go on an... adventure?" she suggested, knowing she was quite prone to finding trouble herself when she got bored. "Actually, scratch that, I don't think it'd go through well." Laughing lightly, she laid down so her back was on the grass. "No help from Sue or Alesy?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

(Danny frowned at the name of Alesy.) "She left," he said trying to get her off his mind.

Feeling her mouth drop slightly, Ginevra pulled it back up and gave him a confused look, shaking her head as she couldn't believe it herself. She had never been a fan of Alesy, though she had to admit it would sure be different without her. "Are you sure?" she asked, not knowing Danny was trying to not think about her. Sighing, she stared at the ground and shrugged before muttering 'Oh well' to herself.

"She did," he said trying to keep his spirits up but was hard, "she said so herself"

Ginevra herself was trying to keep her mood upbeat so she easily was able to sense that Danny was doing the same. Remembering that Danny had dated Alesy, she closed her mouth and merley nodded. She didn't want to be a downer and change everyone's moods into bad ones, she hated it when people did that and she sure wasn't going to do it herself if she could help it. "So who likes cheese." she asked, changing the subject with the second thing that came to mind.

(Danny laughed. When he finnaly stopped laughing he spoke.) "That was good," he said

Darren was quite focused on his book when someone came and sat down next to him. He looked up and seeing Gin after so long, nearly smiled for the first time in like 4 months, and had to control himself not to. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it again. Instead, he shuffled away from Gin, so he was on the other side of the tree, and glared angrily at his book again, not really reading it. It was a pretty childish thing to do, but he didnt really care right now.
