Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

The pub was packed full this time of night, and Micki liked it that way. This way she could observe without being seen too easily, like she would be if she went to any other pub. Her traveling cloak was much to large on her frame, and hung down to her feet, nearly dragging on the floors as she walked in and made her way to the back of the bar.

"Tea please.. and do you have any peanut butter?" She asked simply, grinning as they brought her out a jar, and she took it, walking to a corner booth and sitting down, setting her bag in front of her, and pulling out some items, one by one. First she pulled out a pad of paper, and then a fountain pen, followed by a spoon, and then a pair of glasses. She didn't actually need the glasses, she just liked the way they looked.

After a moment of shuffling around, she set her bag down beside her, and started to write on her paper, though in a matter of minutes her tea and peanut butter was brought to her, and she set her tea down on her pad of paper, smearing the ink without a care, and even leaving a ring on the paper, which she left there, as she sipped the tea, and then pushed the drink over to the side, picking up the pen again, and going over her words to make sure she understood them herself, before looking around the room and jotting more things down.

After a moment of writing, she opened her jar of peanut butter, stuck a spoon into it, and pulled it back out, shoving the spoon into her mouth and twisting it to the side so that she could see the paper clearly, before brushing her hair back out of her face, and writing on the paper again.

Milo had been drinking for a good two hours or so. He had already learned the names of everyone in the bar, and they were all treating him like a best friend. This was old pat to Milo, who was the best companion to have in a bar. Unless you were a Death Eater- he loved battling Death Eaters while drunk. It made the whole experience much more memorable... well, not really. He typically had to be told what had happened, but it always sounded interesting.

He had been circling the pub now, helping the waitresses deliver drink, though with much more flair. He stumbled to and fro, shaking his hips and singing the orders to the patrons. A few of the women tipped him, tucking coins into his pocket and he was very liberal with the winks.

It was surprising, therefore, when he came across a new face, and one that did not seem shrouded by the influence of alcohol. Poor girl- he couldn't imagine not have at least four drinks in his system this time of night. But she did have one clever idea, and he could smell it as he walked by her. Peanut butter.

Mmmmmm.

He delivered a drink and skipped back to the bar. "Oi. Tessa!" The barmaid perked up at his voice, always pleased when the eldest d'Eath was involved. "Do you have any Oreo cookies? The chocolate ones? Huh?" She put a hand up on ducked into the pantry, calling, "Yes, we do, love."

Milo grinned. "Great. Give me a box of Oreo's and a glass of milk."

She poked her head out to give him a stare, trying to figure out if he was joking. He wiggled his hips.

Two minutes later, Milo was sauntering over to the stranger. He dropped in the seat across from her, banging the glass down and tossing the box before her. He grinned, his eyes a bit unfocused. "Try dipping the cookies in the peanut butter. Trust me. It'll give you tingles."

Micki hadn't quite planned on anyone sitting with her. Her focus was completely diverted by the people in the bar. Her attention was so on them, that she paid very little mind to her hair dipping in her own ink, or to the fact that it left small wisps of ink across her page, she was watching one girl sitting and talking to her friend. It was all extremely interesting to watch actually, as she flipped her hair, and flirted, even though it wasn't with a boy, the girl tendencies were there, showing off in front of people who knew she was better.

Suddenly however, there was a man sitting in front of her who reeked of alcohol, and dropped cookies directly in front of her. Oreos by the look of them. He mentioned putting them in her peanut butter, and she stared at the cookies for a moment, before focusing on the man.

Incredibly good looking, friendly, and very drunk, his eyes were unfocused, and she knew one more drink and he'd be slurring up a storm. However, she took this as a valuable opportunity and nodded, picking up a cookie and dunking it into her peanut butter, before shoving the peanut butter into the middle of the table and offering it to him. "Join me." she said simply, her eyes locked onto this new character, smiling slightly as she bit into the cookie and was pleasantly surprised at just how good that tasted.

(OOC: Does it really taste good? Never tried it myself..))
